Wanted CR: Always on the lookout for more folks for him to Nanny in his sad, soft, nervous, resilient way.... people who understand The Obligation of Duty (negative and positive), fellow old-timey people to vibe with (he's A Victorian™), other law enforcement / officer types (he's very Involved around the town)... friends?? He's starting to finally feel like he can maybe have "friendships" here, though he's still struggling with what that really means. He's a good Guard Dog so if anyone needs some protection while heading out or assistance otherwise, he's your guy. He also frequently patrols the town and tries to keep an eye on things, so others to accompany him are always welcomed!

Event Ideas:

the ends justify the means — SO I am actually really torn on this one lmao, and might wait a bit to see what fleshes out here with more people! Edward is extremely conflict-avoidant / would be very concerned about possibly making things worse by retaliating against the Forest Walkers at all. Given that Wynonna Earp and Ruby Rose were actually shot by them recently, his worries are Very High. HOWEVER... I can also see him wanting to help take care of the problem / wanting to do what's best for the community, so possibly heading out? He would have some bad feelings about the concept of starving them out... but he might could accompany others / play guard dog if anyone wants to go poking through caches for a few supplies... Again, I'm kind of waiting to see what cr plans might be or if there are any kind of town discussions about this, so keeping it on my radar!

sacrificial offerings — I'm very interested in Edward having an encounter with the serpent! He's extremely spooked by Supernatural Things and I think the idea of having to give a literal sacrifice will be very distressing to him.... I'd probably only want to thread this out once, so if anyone is interested, please lmk! I'd prefer it to be someone who would kind of take the lead on this, since Edward won't really know how to handle it and have to be talked through, lmao. And I'd personally love it if he ends up having to sacrifice some blood / maybe both characters do that? He would.... hate that, immensely (so naturally I want to torment him with it)

glimmerfog — I'd be down for Ned having to help someone dealing with sickness! There's lots of options here; he could witness a nightmare from someone's world, or help them with the actual sick part. This will absolutely stir up some memories from the Doomed Expedition in which all of his men slowly starved and/or went crazy from lead poisoning.... and remind him of his failures as a First Lieutenant, so I think it could be meaningful for him to help nurse some folks back to health.

Wanted CR: all the Space Things (Kostya is a cosmonaut from the 80's, so he's very interested in learning about technology / space exploration / etc. from any fellow spacepeople who might be from his future), all the Alien Things (he comes with an alien parasite that is here with him in game, causes a variety of gnarly symptoms, and that he's been explaining as a "medical condition", and I am very excited to do more with that — people he can questions about aliens, learning about other species in general, potential encounters with his, all the goopy horror you can shake a stick at, etc.), others who might have been experimented on / have lab rat-adjacent experience, other Sad Dads / parents in general, young folks for him to feel complicated guilty feelings about, fellow "older" folks (he's 39), workout / training buddies, fellow "monsters" are something I'm always and especially interested in exploring for this character, who is very "I was a Hero and now I'm a Bad Thing".... give me all the monster angst! He's brand new to it and still learning how to perceive himself differently / fighting it pretty hard

Event Ideas:

general — This month, I plan to take it more easy with Kostya and put the focus more on general things, such as meeting new cr and building on the cr he's met so far. So if anyone would like to set up something inbetween event stuff, please lmk and I would love to facilitate it! For reference, he won't be leaving Milton / going to Lakeside, so he'll be around the OG town.

glimmerfog — With the above said, this prompt IS something I'd love to utilise for a little bit of fun Alien Horror Times.... I'm definitely favouring a slowburn experience with him in game (aka not wanting his situation to become like, widely-known just yet), but this could be a good opportunity to give a little bit of a horror push 👀 I'd love for Kostya to get sick (to begin with, he'd think it's his own condition just getting worse). There's a couple of delightfully grosse options with this prompt for him:

— someone witnessing a nightmare hallucination (which could involve when he was first infested with the alien up in space, or one of his lab rat experiences... or maybe the thing feeding gruesomely on human brains...)

— the alien reacting to its host body becoming sick in the early stages and yeeting itself out of him. As a heads' up, this would involve Konstantin going into seizure and hacking up a very slimy, worm-like alien, if those themes are something you'd need to avoid. (There's also the option that Kostya just goes into seizure and the alien starts the process of yeeting itself out of him, but doesn't actually fully emerge!) Either way, he wouldn't remember this happening at all here, so it'd be a fun little bit of information for someone to have / to be worked with later on. And here is more info on The Alien if needed!

Again, I'd prefer for this not to lead into any kind of Town-Wide Exposure of Konstantin's situation, so if a character's natural inclination would be to alert the public, it might not be a good fit right now! And no pressure to jump on this right away if you're interested, as there will definitely be other opportunities for Alien Times in the future!
