Yes! In all honesty, which he will admit, he doesn't know where they are exactly — just general ideas of where they might be, which he's been trying to slowly map out. He's basically going off known routes/areas he's seen the Forest Talkers go over the years and messages/notes which he has happened upon.

The fact he's just one man against the (now sometimes) supernatural elements (and now with a pregnant dog) means he needs help with it, even though he would rather have done it alone. Interlopers might not trust him, but he doesn't trust Interlopers all that much, either.
