oh he'd LOVE to give Din what he knows about gunpowder and its effects! how to make it and if that's possible might be slightly iffier but he'll try. he'll even let him take a look at his super old pistol if Din will let him take a crack at the blaster

I love both these scenarios but I'm leaning towards the latter! I like the idea of them meeting up on the perimeter of town possibly while Edward is dragging a haystack into place, chatting each other up, and then working together to chase off an incoming pack
