"A year or so," Hickey answers, as he takes another sip of the tea. "As far as I can tell, I was one of the first to arrive from our little group, people who've been brought in by the Aurora."

There are still a handful of others. But as some of their numbers have vanished and others have died, the number of people who first arrived here have gotten smaller and smaller as time goes on.

It's an exclusive club. But not necessarily a fun one.
