He seems to almost study him for a long moment. A mix of curiosity, concern, intrigue. Sorry, Arthur, it may or may not be off-putting as he comes back closer towards him, eyes narrowing a bit more in focus as he listens, watches as he explains and points to various places on his body where he's taken fatal damage and recovered. So much like regeneration; familiar, but still altogether different.
"You know, all of that warrants at least another cup of tea. Perhaps two more." He's more concerned than the blithe remark might initially indicate, but this is his way, that mix of strange and charming (so he likes to think) humor, with seriousness.
"You can rest here as long as you need, gather your wits. Lose a round of chess or two against me." Ha. "This cabin — we're by the lake, a bit on the outskirts of Milton, where most of the others congregate, though a fair few of us stay by the lake. I go back and forth quite often." He pauses, folding his hands together, smiling just slightly. "Not to state the obvious, but given what you've been through, it feels worth saying I'm glad you've managed to get the hang of surviving, Arthur Lester. It will serve you well here, I do hope. Though, this world changes all of us by its nature."
