And yesss awesome! We can probably say that they've been doing that semi-regularly for the last [XX] weeks and see what they might have learned.
Regarding the dam itself: it seems the hot water was/is being fixed by Lalo, with Levi potentially helping maintain it. The inaccessible part is so for ooc reasons (I asked about it here) so there's nothing characters can do to open it up until it's un-jammed by a game event (similarly to the earthquakes this month seemingly opening up the Mountain Pass Tunnel? That's my guess, not sure if confirmed). But there might be other potential secrets and/or projects there!
