"No. You just get more accustomed to it," Max admits.

It is so much, when it happened it was a lot, in the aftermath it's a lot, even now it's still a lot.

"Yeah. It does count. It counts for a lot."

Max is pretty sure the community hall isn't far, and she walks in the direction she's hoping it's in to get another hot meal.

"Max," she says, tilting her head a little bit. "It's a highlight. Have you been here long? I just got here, and I wasn't sure what to think at first."
