Player Name: gabbie Player Contact: PM / reggiemantle Pacing: I can often be slow, but will backtag eternally + can average more of a medium pace when I'm caught up. OOC Limits: Nothing comes to mind atm that wouldn't necessitate some prior plotting / discussion anyway; I'm pretty easy. Please avoid infomodding/4th-walling, however.
Character Name: John Irving Canon:The Terror Aurora Feat: N/A
Wanted CR: Anything, really!! My default setting is usually to see how a dynamic develops organically and then go from there, but I'm also totally fine with planning out encounters/CR goals more specifically. Bible study buddies would be a delight, and I'm always a fan of awkward yet surprising friendships and/or tense frenemy/acquaintanceships β because lbr, Irving is prone to those β especially if they can lead to interesting character beats and development on either side! I'm also not opposed to developing romantic CR, but know in advance that it would be complicated. β€οΈ Unwanted CR: I'm pretty open to anything! the only thing I'm not too keen on is one-note CR that's just going to hit repeated dead-ends rather than develop or evolve.
Event Ideas:
THE AURORA β TERTIARIUS | I'm thinking Irving will get the Efficient Machine Aurora feat, because he already has a lot of trauma and neuroses centered around rationing / poisoned food etc. that it'll be a huge relief to him actually...! Like, to be able to forgo food so that others can have it instead, and because he's never really lost the tiny panicked voice in his head that still wonders if everything he's ingesting is actually inedible / rotten / poisonous somehow (even when knowing this is mostly an irrational) (that's #trauma for you!)
THE HUNTED, PART TWO | Irving might be a bit more proactive this time in trying to track down the bear, if only for want to understand it betterβ shotgun in tow, although he doesn't really want to kill it if possible. He remembers the story written in the Camp Office and has drawn parallels between the Old Bear and the Tuunbaq of his own experiences, and feels deeply conflicted because he knows they β the Interlopers β are the ones who don't actually belong there, although what alternatives remain available to them aside from killing it, he has no idea. Either way, he'll make sure he is armed when confronting the creature!
DON'T SLEEP | Irving already shares a room / bed presently so that's all well and good, but he might suggest doing so in small groups (3-5) so that sleep can be grabbed in shifts. Like camping! He won't be attacked, himself, but I'm open to him running the creature off from attacking someone else!
Anything Else?: I'm still knee-deep in backtags at the moment, so I might stick to closed threads for this one. Please let me know if there's anything you'd be interested in doing with Irving and I can write us a starter!
