It takes John a moment to make sense of what Charlie is asking him, mostly because he's had a month to get used to the idea of having a body and being a physical being. A month is an incredibly long time for him, really, considering. But he nods, just to reassure him first off.
"This place took Arthur first, without me, and later I arrived, like this. My body isn't reliant on his, a-at least I don't think so."
