It's very cosy and relaxing under here. Dare he say even snoozy. When Arthur starts talking about food and tea, Charlie isn't so much reminded of the English soldiers who'd pass hot drinks to poor bastards suffering from exposure as he is fully seeing and hearing them, mess kits and lice and all. And then his particular brand of self preservation kicks in and he wakes himself up by pulling the blanket back down and taking a furnace to the face.
"There's tea?"
He says it blurrily, but at least he's comprehending the basic equation of hot = good. His teeth are starting to chatter again as he slowly warms up enough to remember that he's cold.
