Chloe tucks the comb back into her bag with an amused little exhale. Nadine would probably kick Chloe into next week if she called her that.

“I don't know if she’d agree she's making friends.”

Shaw had only really been interested in going to Chloe’s house because she’d wanted to see her cattle prod, but somehow that doesn't seem like the right thing to say to the girlfriend, even if she had been dead at the time.
