He doesn't mean to barge past Charlie to get to the bathroom first, but this is the first time in a long time that John's actually been injured and he can't help but fucking worry. He doesn't even know how John's body works half the time, let alone what an infection might do to him.
Better to play it safe than sorry. They don't have the luxury of second chances here.
The other two will hear his small but triumphant "Ha." before he emerges from the bathroom, unboxing the small bar of soap and waggling it in the air for John to see.
"A quick wash, John. You big baby."
Though he does go out of his way to try and stay in Charlie's line of sight, breaking off a small piece to pass to him to lather up the cloth.
