The fire is really going some, and the water has quickly warmed to a comfortable temperature; Noel hands the lathered cloth to Arthur, and does meet his eye this time, as if nothing of significance has passed between them today. Arthur is quite clearly not threatening anyone's skull currently, so there's that. If he starts to sound that way again then they can back up and deal with it. Something about their confrontation sure dealt with it. He'll be happier if the solution is repeatable, and if it can happen maybe before he gets nearly murdered.
