( tim is stressing. dick doesn't need to be able to see his emotions in live-time to tell that. it's the short sentences, the way he doesn't shrug him off but he isn't leaning into it, either. the hesitance and the frown that doesn't seem to leave his face. and there are several factors that dick knows would cause that kind of stress for him: first off, they're here and not where they're meant to be. tim said they're not from the same world, or at least not from the same time and he gets that, too. multiverse shenanigans have been playing a big part in things stressing dick out, too, over the last couple years. and there's always things that happened when he - when he wasn't quite himself and everything caught fire.
if it wasn't so cold out here, if he weren't in danger of possibly losing a few toes and fingers, they wouldn't still be moving. he'd pull tim around, place a hand on his shoulder and ask him what's wrong, what dick can do to help. maybe he'd just gotten here, maybe he's missing a lot of information on why tim is thinner, scratched up, almost avoiding him, but he's here now. )
