Though he doesn't stop at that explanation. He actually stares at the bearded man for a moment, Bigby seeming to contemplate something before he just decides to voice the question out loud. Even if he can tell quite a lot about people just by observing them because of his job back home, it's still easier to get the information in a more straightforward way.
