In the kitchen, he once again went through the cupboards with the practiced air of someone used to looking for that which most people ignored or had forgotten about. There wasn't too much to be found but there were some cans he thought would still be edible. He wasn't sure if they were expired or not given he wasn't even sure what year it was but he wasn't about to be choosy.
He started to put the cans in a neat little pile on the table. "Try up there." He motioned to the shelves higher up. Rorschach was on the short side and the only way he was getting up there was climbing onto the countertops, which would have made him look more than just a touch awkward in front of his new companion.
