Din's just going to go ahead and casually assume that wearing that skull mask is some form of religion for Simon, and as a fellow fighter who never removes his helmet for religious reasons, he's going to extremely respect that lmao

Oh my god hahfjdsgh. I mean...! It is for deeper reasons so he won't be totally incorrect. Naturally, Simon will automatically respect him too. Clearly Din's a man of taste and quality.

Din is convinced Simon is also a man of taste of quality, considering he too is fully armored from head to toe. They can compare armor polishing tips, and have weapon chats! (Din would actually love to talk to someone who's an expert in the guns of the current day, because to him they're so ancient he doesn't have a good working knowledge of them lmao)

These two are gonna be great buds. Simon will similarly be fascinated by Din's own weapon expertise of future weapons/sci-fi weapons. Just an immediate "Tell me everything."

If there's ever an event where a) the power comes back on and b) things start attacking, Din and Simon have to have a thread, because Din will whip out a wholeass lightsaber and I feel like Simon would love it lmao
