They found a way. I'm not sure a whole lot about what happened between then and where we are now, or how our world might have been reshaped by it. There was only one person who actually even knew about that happening until recently.

A lot of the ancient history of my world has been kept under wraps for a long time.

So town's called Milton. It's pretty small. Maybe sixty to eighty people tops. We don't have electricity. Pretty much everyone is someone who has been dragged to this place except for one guy, who doesn't like to give a lot of answers. Sometime before we showed all the original people in town died. Super motivating.

And there's a weird monster that comes by every once in awhile to do some murders. We have no idea how to stop it and it's killed four people so far.
