Glad you could be here! We hope you have a great time here in the Quiet Apocalypse. Don't lose too many fingers, this weather bites. Feel free to use this post to introduce yourself and your character and get to know your fellow players! Once you're accepted into the communities, feel free to start posting!

(slams fist down on table) AND THEY WERE ROOMMATES- anyway YES yeah I totally agree with this, they need to be able to bond over this and also bitch together and take care of each other etc... so on... oh god PLEASE let them go househunting so Jirv can go full-on #cottagecore about it, just don't let him get too pedantic or you'll be searching for the Perfect Cabin forever ok

--I mean. HONESTLY they could probably share what he has now, they're used to close quarters and all, but again I'm happy with either option! 8) Love the image of them living their awkward pathetic confirmed bachelor lives together... (Jirv will be afraid to touch the TV as well what if it explodes?? They can be radio people instead it's fine!!)

oh my god and they were roommates, someone needs to inform them about memes... But HELP I love the idea of Irving getting to live his best cottagecore pinterest life and nitpick about a cabin.... he deserves this!!! Sets some flowers out... a nice environment to do some painting in....

I DO think it'd be really fun to get a little upgrade and find a new place, Ned recently spent some time in a bigger cabin down at the other town Lakeside, and got kind of attached to actually getting to sit on a porch sometimes.... it was nice...! 👉👈 Also crying about the image of them bitching together, them like gossiping fvkfl Reporting Things to each other. Ned will tell him the important deets on everyone he knows....

God also. Imagine them like having formal dinners sometimes and wearing their little epaulets... Important to maintain a good image.....!!!

YES EXACTLY... a nice peaceful spot to paint and read a book and gently gossip with bestie over tea about all the horrors... the dream. SO YES maybe they can share for a bit and then upgrade, get a place with a porch they can be old men and sit in rocking chairs on... DINNER PARTIES, BIBLE STUDY, THE LOT

AND LISTEN JIRV WILL DO THIS, WHO ELSE IS HE GOING TO TALK TO... especially when he needs maybe a slight rationality check... and yes deets please!! nature is healing <3

OH I love that idea, Ned bringing him back to stay at his current place for a while (you might've already stumbled across it but HERE is The Sad Little Cabin.....) For some fun "living together in a small place" shenanigans, and then an upgrade somewhere down the line where Jirv can live his best househunting life....

I know there's been talks of Kate Marsh possibly coming to stay with him for safety at some point if that is something Jirv would be okay with (do you want to help him adopt one (1) teenage girl, Jirv....) so that could also be a push into getting A Bigger Place down the line, but I'm totally flexible to roll with anything as it plays out! B) And also worth mentioning: Ned had also been staying the night at Jopson's for company / to stick together sometimes too, so Irving could come with for the occasional Boatman Sleepover.... them all kind of spread out but still drawing together at times to try and stay safe here in the nightmare town....

In any case, Ned has definitely been like a lost ant without all of the crew around him constantly, so being with Irving will help soothe at least one part of his stress LMFAO. (ofc they can find new things to stress about together... POV John Irving and Edward Little are anxiously hovering nearby, looking nauseated)
