Glad you could be here! We hope you have a great time here in the Quiet Apocalypse. Don't lose too many fingers, this weather bites. Feel free to use this post to introduce yourself and your character and get to know your fellow players! Once you're accepted into the communities, feel free to start posting!

She's baaaaaaaack. Amy here, Daisy's player, with a new and improved not dead version of La'an Noonien-Singh who's still ready to protect people and take absolutely no one's shit.

For those who have joined since the first version of La'an was killed off by the Darkwalker: she's from that idyllic vision of the future known as Star Trek, specifically the Strange New Worlds series, where she is a Starfleet Lieutenant serving as Chief of Security aboard the USS Enterprise in 2259 and takes her work very seriously. She can also basically be considered a sci-fi Final Girl after surviving multiple encounters with Star Trek's version of the Xenomorph, which she was just fighting right before her arrival.

Things are going to be rough for La'an for a little while as she adjusts to "hey, aren't you dead?" and acclimates to the frozen hellscape she'll now have to call home, but there is one bright spot in all this: somehow, she has her James Kirk back. (Watch this for a look at their doomed romance.)

And, since La'an's backstory is full of some potentially difficult things for folks, please have a look at her permissions for full content warnings! She is 100% not a sharer, so it'll be relatively easy for me to avoid mentioning certain things if I have a heads-up.

Whoever was here before her first death is free to recognize her on sight, and everyone else since can recognize her from the stories of the first Darkwalker appearance! I'll be getting a log up for awkward meetings soon.

I'm SO thrilled to welcome La'an back into the game, and it'll be super interesting to see how another version of her does here / exploring cr!! I'm really looking forward to doing things with her and Ned, seeing how they might get on this time, and godddd someday somehow it would be really fun if she ever learned about Konstantin's alien parasite situation..... Could possibly be a veeeeery different flavour of cr from your other space girl 👀

I'm so excited for her and Ned, she's going to be much more (for her) open and actively trying to connect with people, including our favorite straight-laced Victorian. And omg, if she learns about the alien parasite situation...

Daisy is the compassionate, let's make jokes about Alien while being reasonably cautious type. La'an is the what are the security concerns and let's problem-solve how to get that thing out of him type. But neither will treat him like a Thing, so there's that!
