While I did post an announcement in the game discord, I'm posting this again to make sure I covered all players. It was previously mentioned in May's event, some players were interested in kidnapping a Forest Talker.

After some thought, I'm considering making this part of July's Event as this has potential to affect all characters in game/open up to be something more people can opt into if they'd like. Because, of course, I am here to facilitate more ways to make your dear character's lives a little more horrible. 😌

Obviously, I don't want to give Too Much away — but I guess this does mean some spoilers for the next event. But for those players interested in kidnapping a Forest Talker I'm here make that happen.

So basically, who's down for the kidnapping and where are they going to be held? My one stipulation is that I'd like it to be somewhere in Milton for..... reasons.

If you'd like to get involved with this, slam your character's name down for the kidnapping/keeping the Forest Talker/places within Milton where the Forest Talker would be held captive/etc.

Basically, if I can get an idea of these kind of set up details — I can get ahead and write up the prompt for the event!

Medical Assistance/Roped in
Vasiliy will be firmly against this idea - but I'm open to having him be roped in if the talker gets hurt and someone runs to his cabin to get a medical provider given that his address is advertised for such purposes on the community board and pretty much everyone knows by now that he's not really the type to run his mouth, nor does he really have anyone to run his mouth to.

Interrogation (!!!!)
If the talker ends up being interrogated while he's in there, that's where it gets dicey - Vasiliy was a career interrogator and very, very good at it, and I think that if he saw someone going with a more archetypical 'menacingly ask/threaten/beat it out of them' he'd step in and slip back into Interrogator Mode and take over as a Good Reasonable Guy. I'd love to do that if the parties who arranged this would be down and I would think that in terms of setting interaction they'd be more likely to get productive NPC answers bc Vasiliy has experience and training from the organization that would become the KGB.

Can offer Levi for the "menacingly ask/threaten/intimidate" situation because that's pretty much just how he talks most of the time (raised by a serial killer, sorry) so it's quite likely it'd happen here too, unless somebody else wants to go for it 🥲
