Canon: Sputnik (This character comes with a parasitic alien entity that he unwillingly became host to while on a space mission... Notable CR: Vasiliy Ardankin (housemate whom Kostya is currently experiencing a bisexual awakening over), Svetlana Nazarova & Chloe Frazer (good friends and cuties), Randvi (worm counselor), Bigby Wolf (monster counselor), Louis de Pointe du Lac & Benton Fraser (good dudes on friendly terms), Kieren Walker (fellow brain muncher, sad son coded), a few other young people he's met and would like to keep an eye on!
Skills: As a Commander, Konstantin is well-accustomed to the role of leadership, and also has experience with the extremely vigorous physical and mental training required for both military and cosmonaut preparation. He has much knowledge of space science and technology, and plenty of experience being in confined environments. He's also extremely good with people, being a model of "social excellence" where he's from and regarded as the Exemplary Soviet Man... However, a lot of this is being tested since he is freshly infected with an entire alien and is weakened and sick due to the game effects... babygirl hasn't exactly been the best version of himself here and it's devastating

Aurora Feat: N/A, his possessed ass has enough going on atm

Wanted CR: Kostya's been keeping himself isolated a lot through his time in game, but is going to start being more of a presence (more deets on that below!) — I'd love to get him out there more and see what might build with other characters. Friendships / companions would be great; he's very friendly and sociable and his Worm Situation has kept him too quiet... fellow monsters of any shape or form, fellow "heroes" / those with complicated experience regarding such a role, anyone with fellow lab rat / experimentation experience. I'd also love opportunities for him to actually talk about his son, which is a huge sore subject / source of guilt for him, and any dadly things in general (dad talks, themes, helping teach some younger folks a thing, looking out for them, etc). I'd also really like to get him back on his feet with some leadership & team-up opportunities, since he is really good at things like this, maybe show him that he can still be helpful and provide for / protect others, even with his "condition"! Medical folks to get more involved with his fuckery would be really fun to explore. Alien situations are also always on the table — the creature has been emerging sometimes (fully without his control or knowledge, it knocks him out). Its reactions vary immensely, depending on who and what it encounters. Funny times, cute times, disgusting horror times; there's a range of potential there with Mr. Wormy and I'm down for it all. He even has his own cr chart in the works..

Unwanted CR: Kostya can be a big harmless flirt, but he's spoken for romantically — currently falling for his undead ex-Chekist roomie (as one does). His Abandonment and Commitment Issues should be fiiiine

Day to Day: Usually at his and Vasya's little homestead, though he's been venturing into town more these days to make trades / try to get in the know with what's been going on. He spends some time ice-fishing and foraging for whatever he can (he's been trying to learn how to cook...), scavenging any electrical and technological parts for little projects, and seeking out some social situations to recharge his extroverted battery. He also walks / jogs a lot, trying to keep himself in good physical shape despite how ill his condition makes him, and he will rope anyone in with him who wants to (and even people who don't. You Will Run)

The Story So Far / Plans: Kostya's been extremely torn over how to handle things — he's been staying largely isolated due to necessity, but after recent events (the Darkwalker's influence causing a bloodbath and people getting hurt/killed/etc,) his guilt over keeping his head down has revved up hard. He's been dealing with the struggle between keeping himself away from others for their own safety (especially after witnessing Kieren kill & eat someone), or getting close to people here so that he can actually help them. After some meaningful talks with some of his cr (like Bigby & Randvi), he's going to lean more towards the latter, and I'd love for him to start becoming more of a presence in this place. Which is going to have to involve telling more people about his "condition" so that they can stay safe around him, so a big thing for him will be gearing up for that. Learning how to live and function with his condition would be a really meaningful journey for him and I think it'd be very fun to see how that goes!

I'd also love to do some tdm shenanigans if anyone still has room on their plate for them! The teas would be good food — if anyone might like to see some of The Horrors and witness his alien invasion or any related fuckery there... potentially Kostya getting to see a memory of theirs in return, or other effects you might want to play around with, like age regression, etc.!

Ohhh my god, both of those would be so good honestly... It could be really fun to let Lalo get a glimpse of Kostya's Horrors via memshare, but I'd also equally be down for him having to babysit a teenage Lalo for some hilarity, LMAO. (I'm also down for both flavours, depending on how much room you have on your plate 👀)

Yes please!! I would love for Kostya to meet Snow — he's been giving the poor sheriff a headache with his whole Spooky Situation going on, but Bigby's been great about trying to find solutions with things, and Kostya's been slowly learning more about the kind of world he comes from. He has a lot of curiosity about it, and I would love for him to start learning more about the bizarre things from other people's worlds / the existence of "monsters" there. So he'd be extremely down to chat with someone else from Bigby's neck of the woods, pick her brain, etc!

We’ve already got a lot going on but I'd love sometime to have poor Wormy puzzle through Chloe being both a nice feelings person and a scary dog.

Pleaseee it's so funny to me that Kostya is still kind of trying to keep the gnarlier truths about his little condition from Chloe, because he doesn't want her to think he's gross HAHA. Kostya like "I don't know how to tell her it's literally a big worm, what if she thinks I'm ugly after that"

Their current thread could be at a good closing point soon, but before it ends I was thinking Kostya will get close to her again soon and Wormy will start pitching some fits about it — HATES the scary wolf smell, PLEASE step back... We should definitely do something sometime soon to follow up on all that! Wormy in conflict....

It's going to be so funny whenever he does finally tell her, he'll be so self-conscious about it... People have been chill about the Blood Incidents but he does not expect the same reaction when they learn he's walking around with an entire disgusting creature in his guts

Note: I've put Ned on hiatus for a bit, and while I'll be slowly continuing his ongoing threads, won't be starting anything new with him until next month. That said, I'm always down to plan & brainstorm things!

Residence: He's recently moved into a new place with John Irving, Kate Marsh, and Merry the puppy...
Notable CR: all The Terrors (canonmates, varying degrees of awkward with them all), Kate Marsh (duckling, daughter-shaped), Wynonna Earp (??? "friend" doesn't quite cover it, she's An Important Person), Bigby Wolf (fellow law enforcement / reliable guy), Holland March (friend??? "bud"?? helping teach Ned how to be a human being), La'an Noonien-Singh (he knew the previous version of her and is trying very hard to keep this one safe), various other young people he routinely checks on / nannies
Skills: Edward is a First Lieutenant of the Royal Navy, and so comes with extensive training as a senior & executive officer. He was also a member of the doomed Franklin Expedition, so he's coming into this setting with some years' experience with survival horror out in the frigid Arctic (living in cramped ship quarters, having to ration dwindling supplies, and dealing with various Frozen Landscape Terrors! And has had some encounters with a Supernatural Spooky Thing.) He also really likes Making Reports, Keeping Up With Stock, and Making Announcements in a Commanding Voice... Now that his third lieutenant is in game, folks might actually get to see Ned being A Figure of Authority as he delegates tasks to John...
Aurora Feat: Moon Touched | info

Wanted CR: Always down for folks for him to nanny in his nervous, resilient way, fellow military / law enforcement types, others from olden times he can vibe with, any kind of canon drama fallout as The Terrors come with so much, fellow wolves.. I'd love discussions about "necessary measures" as that's been a recurring angsty theme in him, and lately is a huge thing, considering he killed a man for the first time ever and feels Changed™ by it... Another big thing for Ned is feeling like he exists as a ghost now, so that could be some interesting potential.

Unwanted CR: I'm really open to anything that happens organically!

Day to Day: Lately, he hasn't been patrolling as much and keeping himself more isolated, but usually Ned can be found diligently walking the town, trying to maintain order, checking in on people, volunteering for Guard Dog duties if anyone needs an escort...

The Story So Far / Plans: The big thing for Ned lately is fallout from the Darkwalker's Influence a couple months ago — he killed a man in order to protect Kate Marsh, an event that has stricken him extremely hard. Though found "not guilty" at the town trial, Ned's been inflicting punishment on himself in the form of withholding on eating and doing physical labor in town, though none of it seemed like enough, and so he's been "embracing" his recent Moon Touched wolf ability as a form of punishment... and willingly turning into A Beast. His werewolf arc... He'll be continuing to isolate himself from others for a good bit, and then... I'm not sure! I've been in a little bit of a creative rut with him so hoping that a breather helps in that regard, and I'll be looking to see what might come about for him in September! I do think it would be meaningful for him if he learns how to utilise his wolfish abilities for the good of others — maybe serving as a literal guard dog when needed... his true form has always been a sad dog (pathetic, but unflinchingly loyal)

Fellow wolves! Snow’s been dealing with embracing her new weird instincts and I loved their previous thread, so I’d be happy for the excuse to toss them back together

I was so thrilled to see that Snow got Moon Touched as well — it would be really fun to throw them together with that, maybe she can help him embrace his own new weird instincts a bit more....! Ned as a wolf just refusing to actually hunt/eat anything and suffering the whole time lmao.....

No rush on this but I think it would be really funny if Ned and Chloe became friends as wolves without finding out who each other are as humans.

Belatedly as I sign into Ned's account for the first time in like a week — please, that would be so fucking funny... Them hanging out and having a good time and then one day we can ruin it by letting them learn who one another is....
