Player Contact:
OOC Limits: No killing and lets talk if things head into permanent injury territory like limb/eye/ear loss.
Character Name: Rorschach aka Walter Kovacs, though he's revealed his real name to no one yet.
Canon: Watchmen, specifically the 2009 film version
Residence: Due to his paranoia, Rorschach has three different places he stays at, but the most notable is the town library he created, where he has a room in the back he can often be found sleeping in during the daytime.
Notable CR: Kate (daughter, don't speak to her unless you want to be fucked up), Levi the younger (ally, sort of friend), Levi the elder (non-con bath giver and more similar in personality than he wants to admit), Louis (Rorschach lets him feed off of him, it's Complicated), Lestat (another hot vampire, why are y'all doing this to him), and Konstantin (hot Russian with alien worm, somehow that makes perfect sense in his mind.)
Skills: • Fighting skills. He's skilled in gymnastics, boxing, and judo, creating a unique way of fighting opponents.
• Detective. He's very observant about the world around him, talented in being able to read situations and to a lesser extent people.
• Scrounging. Seeing as how he's been one step above homelessness for about ten years, he's good at finding things he needs to survive, whether that's food or tools.
• Make and repair clothes. He's got some talent in making clothes (he figured out a way to make several masks from a dress without destroying the unique materials it was made out of) and being able to repair them.
Aurora Feat: Aurora Call, Interloper's Sacrifice, and Old Bear's Blessing. The first one accounts for how he has way more telepathic conversations with people than normal verbal ones given the severe disconnect between his speaking skills and detailed thoughts. He's not had a chance to use his Interloper's Sacrifice feat yet, so definitely looking for an opportunity to do so!
Wanted CR: People to care about and make him feel actual emotions about. Gonna be real, Rorschach can be a hard one to crack open, but he's got a core group of people he cares about here now and will protect with everything he's got. So I'd like more of those. Enemies since he's also got a prickly person that's hard to get along with and can rub them easily the wrong way. Maaaaaybe someone he can develop romantic feelings for, as he's just gotten to the point of realizing he might even be capable of those, but he's completely repressed when it comes to women and so far back in the closet he's in Narnia when it comes to men.
Unwanted CR: Nothing springs to mind but I'll let you know if anything comes to mind.
Day to Day: Rorschach is most often active and awake at night, so unless stated otherwise, that's usually when a thread with him is taking place. Sometimes he'll stretch out his waking hours and get into daytime morning ones but this usually makes him sleep all the harder later on. He runs the town library and is the world's scariest librarian. Return your books on time! This is also one of the usual spots to find him since he lives part-time there in a backroom. While he often doesn't go for everyday conversations or seeking people out, it's easy to spot him on rooftops and in trees since he likes climbing and being up high. He's also a nosy bastard despite his social awkwardness and can often be found at the Community Hall to find out what's the latest going on with other Interlopers.
The Story So Far / Plans: Rorschach got involved with the hunt for Old Bear and got to watch Young Bill make his last stand before both died. This has shaken him up greatly since it made him feel human emotions again. Disgusting. After a year and a half here, he's started to think (and is entirely wrong) that he's seeing the patterns of how Interlopers come/go/die. Come look at his IASIP-style conspiracy theory board with him. Looking to get him more involved again with stuff since I fell off the face of the Earth for about three months (holidays + was stuck in the So Cal wildfires zone, BLECH) and so I'm up for anything anyone wants to do with him!
