PROMPT ONE: THE SHUDDERING EARTH: Quake activity in the area, paired with decaying infrastructure, reveals a way for Interlopers to make their way to the coast.

PROMPT TWO: THE LONG ROAD: Interlopers can now embark on the long and dangerous journey to Silverpoint, and make some grim discoveries on the way.
THE LONG ROAD — CONTENT WARNINGS: themes of exploration/survival; potential injuries, potential cold injuries/hyperthermia risk; corpses; dead npcs.

PROMPT THREE — TRY HONESTY: A dream leads to Interlopers being a little more honest with one another, in different kinds of ways.
TRY HONESTY — CONTENT WARNINGS: themes of honesty/forced honesty; potential body horror.

THE SHUDDERING EARTH

WHEN: Early May, onwards.
WHERE: Everywhere, Carter Hydrodam.

Seismic activity is well known within the Northern Territories. Both last year, and over the last month or so, Interlopers have felt intermittent tremors — the ground quaking beneath their feet, enough to upset some objects around homes but never quite enough to cause some serious damage. Interlopers have been fortunate, but the damage caused by these quakes have long left their scars over the years in this world: railroads and roads buckled and crumbled, bridges destroyed and tunnels and pathways caved in, cutting off access. The quakes can cause some serious damage.

Interlopers will find that out in the late evening of one otherwise calm day in May.

Animals will notice the signs of the impending quake before humans do, growing restless and agitated in the hour or so before the shaking starts.

A low tremor that makes items in homes quiver, the ground vibrating beneath your feet. It quickly grows more violent — items can be sent flying if they’re not secured. Light fixtures sway overhead, furniture will shake and topple over, dust and debris could rain down from above — some places worse than others, depending on the building.

Diving for shelter is the best thing to do, out of the way of windows and objects that can fall over. Finding something sturdy to take cover under. The shaking grows intense, especially in the Lakeside area. There is a strange and terrible churning of metal and stone, a crash, something giving way. Roars and crackles of noise.

In Lakeside, where the quake is far more intense, the sound reverberates around the area, but the sound can even be heard so far as in Milton — distant but noticeable. It comes from the direction of the Hydrodam.

The quake is fortunately short-lived and finally dies down. Interlopers will be able to come out of hiding and assess the damage and check on one another for injuries. Within Milton and Lakeside, some buildings that have never been inhabited by Interlopers and remained empty for a long time (and thus in states of disrepair) will be found severely damaged. Water pipes may burst, causing flooding in some unused buildings — ultimately rendering them now useless and uninhabitable.

Generally, it looks like large swathes of the area have come out unscathed — but there is a risk of avalanches in some of the more remote locations near to the mountains. It might take several days for Interlopers to take stock and assess properly, even check further afield.

Interlopers who choose to investigate the Hydrodam will come to find that sections of the dam itself have given way, the metal burst open and water spilling outwards and down the river towards the coast. The huge gorge which separates Lakeside and The Coast is a raging torrent. In time, these waters will eventually calm but it looks like the previously flooded sections of the dam that had meant it was completely inaccessible might be now free to explore with the fact the water had .

The Hydrodam has been in a state of disrepair for some time. Before The Flare, it barely had a skeleton crew running things. Now, with no one to maintain the dam itself following previous quake activity — it looks like this quake has been the straw that broke the camel’s back.

Traversing through the dam will reveal that the lower levels are now accessible and can be entered. But Interlopers should take caution: while the lower dam is now free to explore, this section of the dam still contains freezing cold water that can reach knee deep on the average person. What’s worse is these sections are filled with debris: equipment, furniture and even random junk and industrial supplies that had been once stored there. Some are broken, and can can injury to the unsuspecting traveller.

Travelling through the dam through an Aurora would be incredibly dangerous due to damage in the building, with exposed wiring and partially flooded areas not mixing great companions. The utmost care should be taken when exploring and finding the way through, or it may spell trouble.

But what it will lead to is a way out. On the other side of the dam.

And a way out to the coast.

THE LONG ROAD

WHEN: Early May, onwards.
WHERE: Carter Hydrodam, The Coast

Coming out and down from the other side of the Hydrodam will bring Interlopers to the destroyed Connector Bridge and onto Coastal Highway — the main road that leads to Silverpoint. There are a few extra outbuildings on this side of the dam which are dry but not particularly comfortable — but it’ll make do in the face of recovering from getting through the dam itself.

But after that? The world is far more open compared to Lakeside and certainly less sheltered than Milton, meaning winds are incredibly biting and difficult to contend with whilst travelling. There is little in terms of cover, and thus Interlopers may need to really plan well in order to keep themselves alive. Hopefully Interlopers have come well prepared for the journey ahead of them.

A great deal of the landscape has been damaged by quakes, making the terrain difficult to navigate: with huge, icy ridges and gorges in the earth and roads — providing ample danger to travellers. But sticking roughly to the road means a straight-forward way down but it will take several days to walk down, given the difficulty.

There is nowhere indoors to shelter on this journey save for a single garage and gas station about half-way through the trek south. Interlopers will need to brave the outdoors, even sleeping out doors or in the shallow, sheltered caves that may be seen just off the road. Interlopers will need to huddle for warmth, keeping an eye on one another to make sure they make it through the night. The gas station will provide decent shelter and warmth, however, and even boasts a few supplies left of food, water and fuel. Some one has definitely been here, but with it being so remote, it’s no wonder it’s generally been left alone.

The reasons why will soon come to light.

On the road down, Interlopers will make grim discoveries: frozen, partially mummified remains of people, half-hidden in the snow and ice. Many of them appear poorly dressed for the journey, and look to have died from hypothermia or some other kind of cold-induced injury. Some may be found as if they had simply collapsed in the snow and died. Others may be found in small groups, huddled and slumped together — having succumbed to the cold. Suitcases and bags will be littered around with them — sometimes luggage will be left abandoned alone, as if someone just gave up carrying it.

Some Interlopers will realise: these are the remains of Milton’s original residents. The ones that made it out of Milton and Lakeside, only to die on the way to the coast. Dozens upon dozens of bodies, making you wonder if anyone ever made it out alive at all.

One long road, a graveyard.

And then, in the distance, where the ocean stretches out before your eyes: the outline of a village can be seen before the land meets the water. Civilisation? People?

As twilight falls, more curiously, a light blinks slowly on the landscape. It may be easier or hard to spot, depending on the time of day. What… is that?

Silverpoint.

TRY HONESTY

WHEN: May and into June.
WHERE: Everywhere.

It begins with a dream. You stand in the atrium of a large cave, lit by a large campfire — the smoke drifting out an opening in the cave’s roof above. Someone sits by the fire with their hands covering their face and as you draw closer and closer to the flames, you realise it is a woman who sits on the opposite side of the flames. For some, they will not know who this woman is but some will recognise her: Enola.

She does not speak, does not look at you. She keeps her face hidden behind her hands, almost-childlike as she sits. The light is low but it’s a pleasant, peaceful kind of ambiance — even if Enola’s actions are a little strange, almost troubling. If you listen carefully, you’re almost sure you can quietly hear crying.

Across the campfire, on your own side of it, there are three stones laid out on the floor, each of them carved with a rune of sorts. It’s hard to tell what the runes mean, exactly. They don’t appear to be in any symbolic or runic language you’ve seen before. Even if you don’t understand them, you find yourself drawn to one of these runes.

You move to kneel on the cave floor and you reach forwards. Your hand hovers over it — a strange thrum in the air, like you can feel some kind of energy of vibration coming from it. You reach for the stone, Enola doesn’t move. As you move to pick up the stone, you feel the sharp burning sting of pain—

The dream ends.

You awaken. Not the sharp snapping of sleep to waking. Just the simple, natural waking that comes when one wakes up. But you feel… different somehow.

Honest. But honest, how exactly?

It all depends which rune you picked in your dream.

HEART RUNE: Interlopers who chose this rune will find themselves more emotionally honest. How this manifests is an aura of colour that surrounds the Interloper which will reflect their current emotional state — ie. golden for happy, shades of grey for exhaustion/tiredness, pinks for romantic feelings. The aura is dynamic and can shift with colours and even have multiple colours in play, depending on the complexities of the emotions.

MIND RUNE: Interlopers who chose this rune will find themselves with an honest mind, and will feel compelled to speak it. They are honest with their words: blunt and to the point, avoiding lies or bending truths. They may even feel compelled to reveal things that have been playing on their mind for some time — choosing to clear the air, and potential dirty laundry.

FORM RUNE: Interlopers who chose this rune will find themselves physically honest. Their previous hurts and injuries will become visible on their skin. This can be previous injuries or sicknesses the Interloper has sustained over the course of their life — even if they are now long since healed. It could be a physical manifestation of emotional or mental pain in some way. Your body no longer holds it secrets, they’re now plain and open for the world to see.

Pacing: medium to fast! returned from a long hiatus and raring to go
OOC Limits: no eye/nail trauma, no pet death

Character Name: reiner braun
Canon: attack on titan
Aurora Feat: efficient machine. he's doing well with it, though he has yet to experiment and figure out the breadth of what he can eat

Wanted CR: friends! hunting buddies! sparring partners! reiner is a lifelong military man with a caring personality (often like a big brother). he is devoted, determined, and adaptable, but also violent, self-destructive, and mentally fragile
Unwanted CR: not looking for negative cr. not looking for romance (he's busy being Obsessed with one eren jaeger [personal profile] dreamsofwings), but am open to fwb (he's gay, so m/m only)

Event Ideas: COAST TIME!!! reiner has been looking for a way to travel to the coast for months; he will be all over this. he will have no compunctions about looting bodies for supplies on the way. he's used to keeping watch at night, so is a good person to huddle with for warmth, etc. while he has no supernatural advantages when it comes to carrying heavy loads, he is a big, strong guy who is more than willing to carry supplies

later, reiner will take the form rune, leaving him with with a plethora of scars which should have killed a regular human. the permanent markings on his face will deepen and expand, leaving him looking more titan-like than before. he will also have deep bloodstains on both hands and possibly around his mouth

I'd like Dorian to kill off Paula Hoffman, Darkwalker's Revenge style, plz! This time his ass is going to get caught so sucks to be you, buddy, try harder next time. What happens to the body is tbd.

I'd also like Paula's feat to be Efficient Machine because it will be very funny if Dorian can't get drunk for a few days.

- Does the hot water still work in the hydrodam?

- The new location page mentions island and mainland -- does this suggest the currently explorable areas are on an island? Is this information available ICly (for example, do any maps of the larger region exist in shops or boat yards)?

- What is the number of days that it takes to get from the Hydrodam to Silverpoint? I understand there's some variation depending on walking speed etc, but are we talking more 3-5 or more 10-15, etc?

- What does the area surrounding the town look like -- are there forests, just snowy tundra, something else? Is it possible to still forage food in this part of the map?

- Do Silverpointers make their own booze... asking for a friend

Tim Drake | DC Comics

[personal profile] ployboy 2025-05-05 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Player Name: Tim Drake
Player Contact: plurk! Find me @ fourboars
Pacing: NEW schedules mean I should be available for boomeranging and getting back to a thread within a day. Yes, I know, it's wild to me too. I'll try to keep tags waiting no longer than 48hrs just to keep things fresh and moving from now on!
OOC Limits: No gore images but anything written is fine.

Character Name: Tim Drake
Canon: DC Comics (2009)
Aurora Feat: Darkwalker's Revenge: he managed to keep it under wraps until he couldn't but would overall consider himself successful with controlling the impulses that come with the curse. (He's got a problem with his ego with these sorts of things.)

Wanted CR: Do you play a someone who is in need of sloppily making out with a very desperate teen

Please

Yes I'm serious lmfao

Hunting buddies are the go-to CR of the month for this kid, as well as anyone who can help him train his wolfdog.

Unwanted CR: pfffft there is no such thing

Event Ideas: Tim will keep his sorry ass in Milton. With a fear of repeating themes, he will be spending the entire month trapping and hunting game to deliver to the Community Center. Tim will know something about butchering and little about preserving meats- but he will be serious and diligent in adding to the stores. There seem to be Hungry interlopers around, and that's always been a point of stress for him. So expect him to obsess even as he fights against the Darkwalker's Revenge and the daylight hours. He has one of the pups of the Dief/Scout litter- he'll need help in training her now that she is closer to maturity. (And so is he.) A month of keeping his head low and his mouth shut! That's good, right? Tim will be afflicted by the Heart Rune.

Player Name: gabbie
Player Contact: PM or plurk @ [plurk.com profile] reggiemantle
Pacing: I can often be slow, but will backtag eternally + can average more of a medium pace when I'm caught up.
OOC Limits: Nothing comes to mind atm that wouldn't necessitate some prior plotting / discussion anyway; I'm pretty easy. Please avoid infomodding/4th-walling, however.

Character Name: John Irving
Canon: The Terror
Aurora Feat: Efficient Machine; he's still sort of figuring it out!

Wanted CR: Anything, really!! My default setting is usually to see how a dynamic develops organically and then go from there, but I'm also totally fine with planning out encounters/CR goals more specifically. Bible study buddies would be a delight, and I'm always a fan of awkward yet surprising friendships and/or tense frenemy/acquaintanceships — because lbr, Irving is prone to those — especially if they can lead to interesting character beats and development on either side! I'm also not opposed to developing romantic CR, but know in advance that it would be very complicated. ❤️
Unwanted CR: I'm pretty open to anything! the only thing I'm not too keen on is one-note CR that's just going to hit repeated dead-ends rather than develop or evolve.

Event Ideas:
THE SHUDDERING EARTH | Not sure yet how much I'll really be interacting with this one but Irving will at least go out and try to Help + also make sure the stores of supplies at the community center are safe and intact. He's otherwise not very strong or brave or particularly handy but he will do his best...!

THE LONG ROAD | Well, obviously he has to journey to the coast. The frozen bodies will be absolutely horrible to witness since they will remind him of a team of crewmates who perished in almost exactly that manner trying to go for help, but he'll persist since 1) he has a good Aurora Feat for doing so, and 2) he has some hope of what may be at the coast for them to find... and also he just misses the water, he misses beauty and feeling like there is a bigger world out there!!

TRY HONESTY | I haven't yet decided between the Heart or Mind Rune but Irving is definitely choosing one because being emotionally honest or speaking his mind plainly are things he will otherwise never ever do. And he really should, says I, so!! IF ANYONE WOULD PREFER TO INTERACT WITH ONE OR THE OTHER please let me know, the CR potential will likely help to make up my mind!!

Anything Else?:

Irving will naturally want to speak with Father Thomas... he'll second the above question of What Is/Was the Religion Here, and also if there are any religious texts or artefacts available to read or even just look at? He's lowkey been considering trying to study to become a pastor/Reverand of sorts at the Milton church so people have someone who can Officially Help Spiritually Guide Them but he doesn't really know where to start, so he might ask about that too... like Can He Help You?

lyn | eren jaeger | attack on titan

[personal profile] dreamsofwings 2025-05-06 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
Player Name: Lyn
Player Contact: [plurk.com profile] boywonder, DM. I am on discord pretty much all the time so if that's more your speed, ask me for my un.
Pacing: honestly idk, I'm on hiatus for another 10 days, my long distance partner is arriving at the end of the month, the world is on fire. So let's just call it "slow" I guess.
OOC Limits: Can't imagine this would ever happen here but pregnancy stuff, gender swaps.

Character Name: Eren Jaeger
Canon: Attack on Titan
Aurora Feat: He does! He has Old Bear's Blessing. I'm not sure if he will be using it again soon; I think I like it happening on accident more than on purpose bc that annoys him more. He is so used to having power that he can totally control, so I prefer if he can't control this yet ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

Wanted CR: Honestly anything! He could use friends who make him better OR friends who make him worse. Because of his canon point, he can't exactly get…worse…but his state of mind and current actions can. This is more likely than him suddenly deciding to actually care about people as a whole. ALSO, Eren caring about someone isn't always a net positive since he can and will just make decisions about what is best for others if he sees it as keeping them safe. So that's something we can play around with too. But otherwise, anything! I don't mind negative CR if we're doing something with it. Eren is pretty terrible (he's not always openly hostile and doesn't talk much about his world but he is still the endgame boss and his mindset about that has not improved), and ready to throw down about most things, so you know. Romance isn't off the table but it's ultra hardmode (and he's super involved with Reiner). He's fine with something physical (his age and up only, dudes only).
Unwanted CR: Negative CR that has no point other than being negative. We love a relationship arc in this house!

Event Ideas:
SHUDDERING EARTH: Eren's first reaction to the earth rumbling shaking is probably massive dissociation/confusion. He associates the shaking with his own actions at home and since his grip on reality and chronological time is tenuous anyway, this will freak him out :DDD So if you want to deal with that, idk, I'll figure out a TL with a hook. His house will remain mostly in tact, just some busted up furniture and stuff like that.

He'll sort that out, more or less, and will be interested in the dam. I'm not really up for playing out severe injury or anything this time around, but open to explore with others (on accident or on purpose).

LONG ROAD: Eren and Reiner have been stocking up as much as they can because they wanted to get to the ocean so all in on Silverpoint. He does have enough supplies, though whether he'd share them with someone who doesn't is…questionable. Depends on the circumstances. (OOCly I'm down to make him share.) If you want to huddle down for warmth and awkward conversation, though, he's ya boy for that, probably. He doesn't know much about the original residents here, but he's not entirely unobservant. He can put two and two together about people fleeing and then freezing. Sucks for them! He won't have any empathy available for the dead. He will steal their shit, though. Hey, they're not using it!

TRY HONESTY: Going with mind rune because that's the most interesting for Eren. He tends to tell half-truths and deflect things about his own world, and taking that away from him is JUICY so that's what I'll do. Have an actual honest conversation with a terrible boy!

Dorian Gray | The Confessions of Dorian Gray

[personal profile] brushoff 2025-05-06 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
Character Name: Dorian Gray
Canon: The Confessions of Dorian Gray
Aurora Feat: Darkwalker's Revenge. Does Dorian know how to keep it under control? Kind of. Has he figured out that murdering someone staves off the munchies for a while? Absolutely. Is he going to have to learn a better coping mechanism than murder? Yep

Wanted CR: friends, gossip buddies, fellow members of Team Vampire, anyone who will help keep his useless ass alive. Dorian is going to be coasting very hard on the goodwill of strangers as he doesn't have much in the way of 'survival skills.' As a note, he's bisexual as hell and will happily sleep around for food/clothing/body heat/getting people to like him/etc. If you want your character to live their best smut life (if they're like, under 35 and not actively stinky), then hmu!
Unwanted CR: I'm up for people calling Dorian out on some of his more scumbag attributes, but please don't kill him.

Event Ideas:
LONG ROAD: Dorian is not going on that expedition because he doesn't do super hot in the sun and also that looks dumb as hell, have fun dying in the snow like a bunch of idiots. Bring him back a souvenir, please.

TRY HONESTY: Dorian is around two hundred years old and the medium of audio drama likes to exploit his healing factor and use him as a chew toy. I am absolutely slapping him with the form rune. Ideally, I'd love a few threads where I can indulge in some really nasty body horror, as him taking on the form rune would show all the times he was set on fire, shot, stabbed, hurt, choked, almost drowned, poisoned, etc. If anybody wants to play around with the honesty aspect but doesn't want to go full tilt body horror, there are a few wounds that could be great for a thread (vampiric bite marks manifesting on the side of his neck, permanently bloody hands Lady Macbeth style, bruises akin to being throttled around his neck).

OTHER THINGS THAT ARE HAPPENING: At some point during the month, Dorian's going to do a little Darkwalker's Revenge killing...but won't be as stealthy as the first one and is absolutely going to get caught by Jopson. What happens next and how public knowledge the murder is will be tbd, but I'm pretty sure at the least Dorian is getting a black eye and a broken nose for being a cocksure idiot.

Cornelius Hickey | The Terror (AMC)

[personal profile] friendsfordinner 2025-05-06 03:38 am (UTC)(link)
Character Name: Cornelius Hickey
Canon: The Terror
Aurora Feat: a combo of Free Runner, Moon Touched, Old Bear's Blessing (tank wolf!!). Aside from occasionally getting angry enough that he fights birds, Hickey's got a pretty good handle on all of these.

Wanted CR: Friends, hunting buddies, people who will tolerate his weird wolf beliefs and his conspiracy theories, people who will point out that his conspiracy theories make no sense, people who can overlook the "if you ask around, it's easy to learn that Hickey ate a guy" of it all, people who will confront him on the "if you ask around, it's easy to learn that Hickey ate a guy" of it all, anyone who can serve as impulse control.
Unwanted CR: Hickey is happily married, so no romance plz! Likewise, while I'm fine with negative CR and IC fistfights, please keep my idiot alive.

Event Ideas:
THE LONG ROAD: You know what's best to get over your weird psychosexual obsession you had with your now dead captain? Road trip. Hickey is absolutely going to make the journey to Silverpoint. He's dealt with the cold enough and has a feat combo useful enough that the journey will suck, but it won't be punishing the way that it might be for other characters. If you want someone to help your character out of a scrape/navigate ridges with/snuggle up to a big fuzzy wolf for sleeping purposes, Hickey's your guy. He will be very bright and very helpful with regards to all this because he's nice and kind and absolutely still isn't thinking about his dead captain that he wants to kill but also kind of wants to fuck a little bit.

Along the way, Hickey is absolutely going to do a little grave robbing, stealing clothes and supplies from the suitcases (and occasionally the corpses) along the way. If anybody wants to help, he'll split the finds! If anybody wants to judge him, that's not going to stop him! His backpack now.

Hickey also is going to bring back souvenirs for anybody that's pack/anybody who he's got decent CR with who isn't going on the excursion. They'll be small souvenirs because he's got to fit a lot of them in his backpack, but enjoy your new box of matches/pair of thick socks/corpse hat/fridge magnet.

TRY HONESTY: I'm leaning towards the mind rune for Mr. Compulsive Liar, but I'm flexible and haven't fully decided yet! My only request is that if I do pick the mind rune, that we oocly dance around that "hey what IS your real name" question should it come up (the E.C. stands for Evil Cornelius)(it does but it doesn't)

Pacing: I am definitely on the slow side anymore thanks, health, but I’ll backtag until the heat death of the universe.
OOC Limits: character death and non-con

Character Name: Zoey Westen
Canon: original character
Aurora Feat: Lightbringer; she’s been working on fine control and finesse since the moment she realised she had a new power, and has been experimenting on what she can do with it. Not opposed to lovers/romance but it’s probably not something she’s going to be seeking out purposefully. If it happens, though… And an event gets involved… /looking at you, red string event Also, platonic cuddling is the BEST. It’s cold, let’s snuggle. Roomies in the future might be fun, too. She’s going to have to know someone a little bit first before she moves them in, though. Wolf friend times, both for shifting shenanigans and for puppy times. (I still need to name Zoey’s puppy that’s the only reason she hasn’t shown up yet in any threads.)
Unwanted CR: Negative CR for the sake of negative CR. Negative CR for a reason is fine! Although I’d like the chance to slow burn that to something a little less negative, if possible. No mortal enemies, please.

Event Ideas:
PRE-EVENT POSSIBILITIES: Zoey got aerial silks from the Holiday Boar, so I really want her to go find a solid, tall tree, tie them up in it and just hang in them for a while like a hammock, because she has MISSED being able to do that. Probably while drinking, because why not. Also possibly some hot springs action if the hot springs are undamaged enough to use because that’s always fun. She’s also going to be making some pine soda. (Because a short came across my youtube dashboard and I went “YES I CAN USE THIS!”) And eventually I’ll get around to doing something with her still and mead-making. EVENTUALLY.

THE SHUDDERING EARTH: I'm not destroying Zoey's house in an earthquake, but I might have her get caught in an unoccupied building that gets wrecked. Because I'm mean. Or she might be in Lakeside when it happens, I’m not sure just yet. She’s going to pick up on the animals noticing the signs of the impending quake, probably, though.

THE LONG ROAD: I don't think Zoey is going to Silverpoint right away. (EVEN THOUGH BEACH.) She's going to at some point, for mapping purposes, but I don't want to send her a long journey away just yet. I might keep that for seeing if other folks want to do a little group expedition later or something. She’ll go to Lakeside and the Hydrodam, though. Go see what damage was done and see what’s changed.

TRY HONESTY: Not sure which rune I’m giving Zoey just yet. I have narrowed it down to either the mind rune or the form rune.

Form would be fun because BOY has she been through Some Shit. Granted, a lot of her old injuries are hidden beneath her clothes and no one's gotten her naked yet but if they came back would be very noticeable very quickly. And she has a scar across her throat from a death in a previous game (she got better, but it still fucking SUCKED) that could also become REALLY noticeable. (In a possibly disturbing way.) Plus the broken ribs and all the emotional and mental pain.

Mind rune because making her a mood ring with no ability to hide what she's feeling would be fun. Everything laced through with whatever colour irritation is because she hates broadcasting what she’s feeling for all and sundry.

ODDS AND ENDS/WILDCARD: Honestly I’m here for other shenanigans, too. Have an idea? Come at me and let’s do a thing!
Anything Else?: Did I copy paste some of this from the last plotting post? Yes, yes I did. Do I feel like I'm forgetting something? Also yes.

Pacing: I can be kinda slow, but try not to go more than a couple of days without a tag. Can boomerang when I'm really in a groove.
OOC Limits: None that I can think of. But if something comes up I'll mention it.

Character Name: Bruce Wayne
Canon: DCEU (Batman v Superman specifically)
Aurora Feat: Darkwalker's revenge. Bruce has so far resisted killing anyone with his feat. I am looking to change that :)

Wanted CR: hunting partners, friends, drinking buddies (he's kind of an alcoholic), enemies. Let this goblin man into your life and into your heart.

Unwanted CR: None! Though I would like to avoid killing him for now.

Event Ideas:

THE SHUDDERING EARTH: Bruce will be staying behind in Milton since his feat would disagree with the travel time. But will likely kill an NPC in the chaos. Iiii might be okay with him getting caught? At least getting stumbled upon in the aftermath. He'd likely blame it on the quake. Let's plot.

TRY HONESTY: Likely giving him the form rune. The trauma of his parents' murders will manifest as gunshot wounds and Robin's death will be unexplained bruising on his face and possibly smelling like smoke.

Anything Else?:

OOC Limits: Please don't kill my characters, but other than that nothing that's allowed here.

Character Name: Chloe Frazer
Canon: Uncharted
Aurora Feat: Free Runner, Moon Touched, Darkwalker’s Revenge. She’s not doing great!

Wanted CR: Always looking for greenhouse buddies, especially now that she can't go outside during the day. Anyone who is willing to look past how gross she is this month in any capacity.
Unwanted CR: Chloe is always down for casual flings (though, as mentioned: this month she’s gross) but I'm not looking for a long-term “endgame” romance for her. I don't mind negative cr but I'm not interested in a nemesis who is going to dedicate their life to taking her down.

Event Ideas:

The Shuddering Earth: Chloe is going to need a bit of help repairing her setup at the farm after the earthquake. I'm not going to damage it too catastrophically but they're definitely going to be reconnecting some pipes and might need some new glass.

The Long Road: Chloe is going to be intensely jealous but also she knows that in her current condition making the journey past the hydro dam (especially when they really don't know what’s out there yet) is a bad idea. Instead she's going to stay home and have different bad ideas.

Try Honesty: To really lean into the horror aspects of what’s going on with her I'm going to give Chloe the form rune. In addition to the bumps, bruises, scrapes and split knuckles that she gets on every job, she’ll have a minor gunshot wound on her arm that just sort of perpetually bleeds (she can offset this by eating a lot, thanks Free Runner) and the broken ribs are back. I might also just have her constantly covered in mud for no reason.

Character Name: Randvi
Canon: Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla
Aurora Feat: Lightbringer and Old Bear’s Blessing. She also currently has Armoured from the bear claw.

Wanted CR: I would love another mentor type figure for her. Otherwise looking for pretty much anything!
Unwanted CR: I’m really open for anything for her this month!

Event Ideas:

The Shuddering Earth: Randvi will want to check on public buildings in Milton (all fine) and then the mine, the train bridge and the hydro dam in Lakeside. Once it's determined that the way through the dam is passable, she and Ulfrùn will join the expedition leaving.

The Long Road: Randvi’s Lightbringer ability can help others with some of the challenges of navigating obstacles on the trip (eg the cold water in the dam) and with both making a fire and warming people at camp. She will want to lay the discovered bodies to rest before leaving, and while exasperated by the looting, considering the situation she will allow it.

I’m not sure yet if she will put down roots in Silverpoint - Randvi does have a home and household in Milton but she's also had a lot of pain and heartache there (the bear injury, the deaths of Heartman, Ragnar, Crozier and the 3 young Forest Talkers, Sveta’s impending marriage) so she will probably at least be tempted to start fresh in a new place.

Try Honesty: I will probably do the heart rune for her, but I don't have a ton of ideas for this yet.

Father Thomas + Jace

(ignore that this is Chloe’s journal lol)

Randvi wants to know whether the Darkwalker has come to Silverpoint, and if the people here have felt it when it has come to Milton and Lakeside.

Also for Jace (as he seems to be the most likely to be encountered while beachcombing): has anyone attempted to cross the sea ice on foot or by sled?

No concrete plans yet, but Randvi and Ulfrùn will be heading to the coast as well so this might be a chance for them to interact again!

Randvi is heading out on the expedition and will want to lay the bodies they find on the trek to rest, so that might be a good way to get these 2 to interact.
