CR MEME

It’s CR Meme time! It's time to touch base with where players are at with their characters in game and look towards the future! While not a requirement, CR Memes are helpful in forging connections with others, along with general housekeeping for what characters are up to during their time in game.

As Endgame approaches, this would also be a good place to look at things you'd like to do before the game ends, if you have plans to off your character before the end or are looking to finish any arcs.

Character Name: Konstantin Veshnyakov + his horrible alien parasite

Residence: a little homestead / farm on the outskirts of Milton, with His Partner™ Vasiliy Ardankin

Skills: leadership / commandership experience; physical & mental capability in harsh environments due to undergoing the vigorous training required for Soviet military and cosmonaut preparation (though his Alien Situation has left him weakened and ill in a lot of ways); social prowess / can work with people or manipulate them as needed (he's a recognised Hero / model of "social excellence" back home); knowledge of space science and technology (granted, he's from the early 80's but he knows a lot about the inner workings of tech & whatnot)

Aurora Feat: Old Bear's Blessing + Free Runner. If the opportunity comes about again, I'm going to make his third one Interloper's Sacrifice!

Wanted CR: Honestly anything goes at this point! He could always use people to socialise / work out / train with, anyone with futuristic alien / space experience whose brains he can pick, Fellow Parents, young folks to Guiltily Adopt, people to go on adventures with... at least when he's able to actually move around again
Unwanted CR: Romance! His commitment-phobe ass has become devoted to one (1) person for the first time in his life and he's Deep & Stupid In Love....

Day to Day: Kostya can usually be found at his and Vasya's little homestead where he helps tend to things as best as he can despite his Condition; he's also been learning how to do homemaker things like cooking and cleaning, as well as assisting Vasiliy on occasion when he sees patients. He ventures to town at times to make trades / try to keep in the know with what's been going on, spends some time ice-fishing and foraging for whatever he can, scavenging any electrical and technological parts for little projects, and seeking out social situations to recharge his extroverted battery. He's also very big on keeping in shape and can be seen running around town & exercising almost daily... Lately, he's been venturing out to Silverpoint more often as well. Something to note is that he's also consistently ill as a result of his "condition", so your character is free to have noticed him.... throwing up. Anywhere, anytime. It just happens A Lot,

The Story So Far / Plans:
— For a good while, Kostya has been enjoying the benefits of his feats, which have given him borderline superhuman strength & capability again (he had this sort of thing going on back in his homeworld due to his alien enhancing him, but ofc it's been nerfed here).... but now that feats have gone haywire, he's back to being reduced to an extremely weak and ill state. He's not taking it well! I'd love to let this be an opportunity for him to have to lean on people again, or for Mutual Leaning On, since most people are also going to be fucked up because of this.

— The loss of his close friends Chloe Frazer & Randvi via violent Darkwalker death is something else he isn't taking well. He's thinking a lot about The End these days and trying to come to terms with it, realising that while back home he chose to die, here he wants to live... Kieren Walker making a reappearance is also one extremely good thing that's further prompted Kostya to be outrightly in his Dad Era... and a lot of where he's at mentally now is thanks to Bigby Wolf.

— Due to all of Everything going on, he won't have been seen out & about these days.... Though he did receive a very lovely gift in the form of a human brain from Dorian Gray (who may or may not have committed a murder to get it, it's fine) and feeding this to his alien has helped stabilise him a bit. Looks like he might need to eat some more to keep that trend going! He's also been very worried about Dorian and his other pals who are being affected by all of this in their own ways.

— He's also settled into his new Familyman Status and has been more deeply, maturely recognising & enjoying the little life he's created with Vasiliy and their menagerie of creatures. This includes realising he's formed a bond of sorts with his alien passenger, whom he still has complicated feelings towards but no longer has the heart to want to kill or even be rid of?? Maybe?? The poor little guy's just a baby, okay... Sure, it kills people gruesomely but sometimes babies do that

Endgame To Do List: I'm not going to lie, while Kostya's had a very specific character arc and there are ways it could be finished up neatly in a bow, I'm really just vibing and seeing how things continue to play out organically! He still has some growth to be seen, but I'm going to let it come as it comes. I would love to do some more things with his alien while I have him here, so if anyone might be interested in encountering the spooky little worm before endgame, I'd be down! It's very fun to write for, lmao. I'd also love any opportunities for him to have a few final adventures / team-ups. But in general... I'm really happy with his development and all of his cr and I thank everyone for playing with him 🙏
