hello hello i’m bobby and i’ve brought along grace marks from alias grace (both the novel and the netflix adaptation). she’s a servant from the 1850s who was convicted of murdering her employer and his housemaid when she was sixteen, and has been in a penitentiary in canada for the last fifteen years. she’s got a sweet lil irish accent and is completely inscrutable. did she do it? idk. doesn’t matter. what does matter is that she’s here now and she’s not locked up anymore.
