Is it so ridiculous to imagine? What's more far-fetched, an aurora summoning strangers from across time and space, or Edward Little one day marrying?

It is best not to even... consider such things. They are for living men.

Sometimes I am not certain I even know how to pinpoint what 'happiness' looks like. Does that sound strange...? It seems... an odd concept now.

I thought I could find happiness at sea, then in marriage, and then at the bottom of a bottle. I'm not the man that can give definitives.
