With the recent events that have transpired in regards to Young Bill's plan to starve out the Forest Talkers — the eco-terrorist group that has been hounding him and leaving macabre scenes all over the Lakeside area, Interlopers have called a town meeting to discuss what to do on this.

Rather than playing out the Town Meeting, like with the Darkwalker's second attack, consider this post an OOC post of that meeting, for players to share their character's thoughts and feelings on the situation — along with the best approach in regards to Young Bill's proposal.

Players are free to thread out scenes from the Town Meeting in their own event toplevels/open posts if they wish to do so — but this is more of a quick catchall on character's thoughts that's more accessible to everyone — and players can have their characters +1 ideas they agree with!

Character Thoughts/Ideas:

- Erich tended to be mostly on his own, even if lately he has been approaching people to be more active in the community. but he will be loudly against the option of starving those people.

- Considering they've been hostile, he will offer himself to approach them without weapons or anything, if that has not been tried. Hands properly in sight and all. He will try to push for a diplomatic solution if there is any idea in that sense. He's not used to conflict, not on a 'large scale' like this, the only time it happened in his life before Milton two world leaders and a hero solved the situation with him, taking the lead, and... yeah...

- Erich is most likely to sit in the back and step in when he feels like things are taking a cruel or violent approach, arguing against it. He will be interested in existing peacefully with them, should that even be just a general 'we ignore each other' kind of way.

- He will oppose any hostage-like plan, anything that may especially hurt young people and even people from their community taking unnecessary risks, but he does feel like he's a fish out of water in this kind of circumstances.

At least if they shoot a completely harmless person you'll fully know dialogue isn't even remotely an option...?

Well, that is true. But it could... be one last chance to open a dialogue, right? I don't really have any big suggestion, sadly, I feel rather conflicted about this entire situation.

I don't feel I can trust Young Bill's judgement, but that may be just me.

They did already shoot two interlopers, so we may have lost our chance to come in peace.

If he knows the risks and still wants to do it she won't stop him but pre-emptive RIP.

He can easily be convinced to stay with some facts tbh. He just really wants to be helpful and doesn't know how to contribuite.

Especially considering the community of interlopers as it is is already the largest group of people he had around for more than a few days in his entire life. Everything feels big.

Ruby will note that her and Wynonna have tried to approach and were shot while approaching their compound.

It could have been in self defense of their own area. But also a wild over reaction to what was happening.
