Town Meeting

Town Meeting

Town Meeting

With the recent events that have transpired in regards to Young Bill's plan to starve out the Forest Talkers — the eco-terrorist group that has been hounding him and leaving macabre scenes all over the Lakeside area, Interlopers have called a town meeting to discuss what to do on this.

Rather than playing out the Town Meeting, like with the Darkwalker's second attack, consider this post an OOC post of that meeting, for players to share their character's thoughts and feelings on the situation — along with the best approach in regards to Young Bill's proposal.

Players are free to thread out scenes from the Town Meeting in their own event toplevels/open posts if they wish to do so — but this is more of a quick catchall on character's thoughts that's more accessible to everyone — and players can have their characters +1 ideas they agree with!

Please fill out the following form.

EDIT: THERE IS A POLL FOR INTERLOPERS TO VOTE ON

Character Thoughts/Ideas:

— Since Kate met Young Bill in March, she will come to his defence a little — since she does believe him to a good person even if he's a little difficult at times (Listen, she's on good terms with Rorschach. She knows all about difficult people). She will point out she does believe Young Bill's afraid and that's clouding a lot of judgement. She will reiterate Young Bill's original comments that the he and the Forest Talkers were at least amicable in the years prior to things going wrong. Not to mention the fact Young Bill even gave Interlopers maps of the Northern Territories, something they didn't have before.

— That being said, she doesn't think that Young Bill's plan is a good one and is very much against starving the Forest Talkers out. That in itself is horrific — but she somewhat understands that people don't always do the right things when they're desperate. She'll also be against any kidnapping (guys what the hell that's AWFUL) and will support peaceful attempts of communication with the Forest Talkers.

Ruby's intention if stealing food would be under the pretense of gaining some leverage to open up communications. But she also sees Kate's point in this and would rather aim toward keeping things as peaceful as possible.
