Town Meeting

Town Meeting

Town Meeting

With the recent events that have transpired in regards to Young Bill's plan to starve out the Forest Talkers — the eco-terrorist group that has been hounding him and leaving macabre scenes all over the Lakeside area, Interlopers have called a town meeting to discuss what to do on this.

Rather than playing out the Town Meeting, like with the Darkwalker's second attack, consider this post an OOC post of that meeting, for players to share their character's thoughts and feelings on the situation — along with the best approach in regards to Young Bill's proposal.

Players are free to thread out scenes from the Town Meeting in their own event toplevels/open posts if they wish to do so — but this is more of a quick catchall on character's thoughts that's more accessible to everyone — and players can have their characters +1 ideas they agree with!

Please fill out the following form.

EDIT: THERE IS A POLL FOR INTERLOPERS TO VOTE ON

That would only matter if they were in the same world as the Justice League, as far as jurisdiction goes.

But since 'the law' was what allowed him to arrest and detain people before, he might point out it's not him leaning on it here, and in fact he's doing the opposite; he's instead leaning on his own personal ethics, and his personal ethics stand against abduction of another person, especially if that abduction will include messing with their body without their consent. He will probably add that if the Forest Talkers did that to the people in Milton, the Milton folks would likely retaliate. He recommends finding a less aggressive way to collect information.

He fully agrees lmao. He just thought he'd bring it up.

He'll concede the point about acting on his own morals, and say that he too is acting on his own moral guidelines as well. He'll also clarify that messing with their body is an exaggeration, he mostly wants to get a closer look at the state of them, and if at all possible get samples. The rest of it, he will just sort of balk at. The idea that kidnapping someone is like, a line too far is somewhat baffling to the boy who kidnapped a bunch of people because he wanted them to be his friends. It's just putting someone in a situation, calm down?
