Town Meeting

Town Meeting

Town Meeting

With the recent events that have transpired in regards to Young Bill's plan to starve out the Forest Talkers — the eco-terrorist group that has been hounding him and leaving macabre scenes all over the Lakeside area, Interlopers have called a town meeting to discuss what to do on this.

Rather than playing out the Town Meeting, like with the Darkwalker's second attack, consider this post an OOC post of that meeting, for players to share their character's thoughts and feelings on the situation — along with the best approach in regards to Young Bill's proposal.

Players are free to thread out scenes from the Town Meeting in their own event toplevels/open posts if they wish to do so — but this is more of a quick catchall on character's thoughts that's more accessible to everyone — and players can have their characters +1 ideas they agree with!

Please fill out the following form.

EDIT: THERE IS A POLL FOR INTERLOPERS TO VOTE ON

Character Thoughts/Ideas:
— La'an will spend most of the meeting at the back of the room, trying not to cause any discomfort with her presence, but she'll speak up to chime in her agreement with certain ideas.

— She agrees that action needs to be taken in regard to the Forest Talkers, but is against the notion of starving them out. Stealing their caches of ammunition seems like a potentially effective strategy for getting their attention for negotiation, but she's not entirely certain of what approach to take for negotiation since she has no personal experience with the Forest Talkers.

— For those planning to go out and raid or leave notes at the caches, she will offer her services as security for their well-being. She has extensive firearms and hand-to-hand combat training, and it sounds like both would be valuable if there's an altercation with the Forest Talkers.

— She absolutely does not support kidnapping a Forest Talker at this stage. They don't need to start a war, especially one they're not guaranteed to win.
