Without their permission either, but that's alright. I'm only 'transportin' it to wherever I'm goin' and back again.

It's too bad none of the ones here work, even during the aurora.

It is. Not that this place has any real roads that would make drivin' fun, but there's somethin' magical about nothin' but open road and a motor that handles a hundred and twenty miles per hour without a hitch.

I suppose it's as common to steal them as it is to steal horses.

Easier to steal horses, but I don't steal cars either. The cars I 'transport' are technically bein' held by the US Government until we can confirm they acquired it by legal means. All questionable property and valuables are confiscated by the Marshal's Service. For safekeeping, so no one sells it all off and runs away to Mexico.

Stealing a horse may not be as easy as you think.

I see. A car is also as valuable as a horse, then?

Wholly depends on the horse, honestly. To both. But generally speakin' yes. Only for the same reasons they're as valuable as I imagine horses are to your people.

The best way to get around.

Yes. Though I would imagine the temperament issues with horses are not a problem for cars.

You'd be surprised. Machines are far from perfect, but the good news is that fixing the machine's attitude is less of a problem. Place I'm from is known for horses - only reason I know even the small amount about 'em I do.

I'm sure you got plenty of tricks up your sleeve that horse trainers could use.

I don't ride much, but I've learned that some horses don't care as much as you would think about having most of their tail cut off.
