Glad you could be here! We hope you have a great time here in the Quiet Apocalypse. Don't lose too many fingers, this weather bites. Hello, hello! My name is Lily and I'm SO excited to be here! It's been a year in the making but I have finally made my way over.

I bring with me Ragnar Lothbrok from History Channel's Vikings. He's well known in Old Norse poetry and Icelandic saga's as a hero and explorer and leader, as well as being father to a team of sons who go off to make their own name. He's coming in from the end of season two, after killing the Danish King for screwing with his family and stealing his hometown. Fuck that guy. Anyway, his hair is way better season 2 and he's still mentally sound.

Permissions are here. Also, feel free to add me on lilbeejack for plotting and/or general chat. I am more than happy to continue TDM threads as game canon, but also totally fine with starting anew.

Happy to be here and looking forward to tossing Ragnar into the mix!

I'm Jhey and I have two horror guys here — Lieutenant Edward Little from The Terror (a Victorian from the doomed Franklin Expedition) and Commander Konstantin Veshnyakov sputnik from the movie Sputnik (a cosmonaut from the 80's who ended up infested with an alien parasite...)

I'm looking forward to tossing either of them your guy's way! He sounds like a really fun addition to the game and I'm excited to see what he gets up to here amongst The Horrors, it's sure to be a great time :)))

I am so entirely canon blind, but have heard of both canons, so, it's only a matter of time before I hunt them down and give them a watch. Hey Lily, welcome to the game! I'm Dem and I watched Vikings... last year? Two years ago? and quite enjoyed it, so I'm super excited to see Ragnar (and Lagertha, hopefully?) around!

I play Levi from Attack on Titan, basically it's terrible world of giant man-eating monsters where he was blackmailed into joining the military to fight them and is the only one of his peer group to survive until the end. Fun for the whole family!

I'd love to continue or handwave our TDM thread and keep it as game canon if you're up for it? (Also it's funny to me for Levi to have a small existential crisis whenever he runs into Ragnar because one of his dead best friends had a similar Intense Blue Stare lol, don't mind me.) Looking forward to playing with you!

Hello, Dem! And thank you! It makes my heart happy to learn people have given the show a chance and are, at least, passingly familiar with Ragnar. As far as I know, Lagertha will likely be brought in next app round!

Oooh, Levi's canon sounds intriguing. I can actually see a conversation unfolding where they talk about these giant monsters in his world. Ragnar can share the ones he's learned about in his culture. And we can absolutely continue our TDM thread! I can cross post it into Ragnar's IC arrival thread when I get it up. Is there a place I can send you a link?

IT'S A LOT OF NEVERENDING MISERY but it's genuinely quite good! Lots of very human problems despite the not so realistic setting. He's not exactly secretive about it so such a conversation could absolutely happen if it comes up somehow!

I'm good to continue on the TDM too but if you prefer moving elsewhere that also works! I'm in the game discord, and jigglyballs or PM is also good, whichever is comfortable for you. o7
