hello all!! I am Lark and I am here with my guy Illarion, a very dead elf from an original setting where being an elf means you're also a bird. He is extremely fresh off a magical zombie mind-control adventure where a malevolent supernatural force was using him and millions of other undead in a bid to destroy the world, so he has just a few things he's working through. :) just a smidgeon of trauma. :) the tiniest speck. If/when he gets through all that he's not a bad guy to have around but he is Decidedly Weird on several axes & will have a lot of adjusting to do to being stuck in a mostly human society. more info here (general) & here (game-specific), with his permissions here!

post-arrival he is going to be asking A Lot of Questions in a disturbing monotone & without a lot of regard for ""social conventions"" or ""having a normal conversation"" and then go out to start killing things--i mean HUNT--in the woods. more than happy to keep/keep tagging his TDM threads!! NOTABLY for handwaved contacts with him: he does not give our his name and will ask someone to nickname him if pressed on it.

player-wise, I am a tired mom of a toddler and a PhD (biomedical informatics; I do a lot of data analysis), finishing out the latter while raising the former. I mostly read books & take long walks for fun though I have enjoyed The Vidya in the past. I'm plagueheart on both Discord and Plurk and am v happy to have new friends!

HELLO I am Lyn, bringing you the antagonist final boss of Attack on Titan, the world's most terrible boy (affectionate), Eren Jaeger. (But wait, you might ask, isn't he the protagonist? He sure is. It's a whole thing.)

If you're canon unfamiliar, Eren comes from a hell world full of giant man-eating monsters called titans. He can also turn into one and a whole slew of powers come with that but literally none of that matters here bc he's just regular old human now!

He gets a little confused about where in time he is and is a master of the thousand yard stare. He's not really sure how to be a person anymore and tends to solve problems with violence. He'll have to learn how to regulate that since he can't heal injuries automatically here.

Because I could, I also gave him permanently visible titan marks. They don't do anything, they just sit there on his face. And now they don't go away! Which when he realises that, it will annoy him, bc they're a reminder of the power he can't access.

He's also just a dumb teenage boy with too much power who has no idea what he's doing ever. Once he likes you, he's your ride or die, but that's really not a great thing with him. Don't worry about it :')

As for me, I'm on plurk at boywonder. I keep ridiculous hours and my tag speed is a little bit of a mystery bc of weird autistic brain problems. I am on discord if you want to talk one on one there, just ask me. I'm an actor/singer/stay at home spouse and mostly use plurk for RP things. Sometimes I talk about fandom or rl. Big fandoms rn other than attack on titan are mihoyo games (got me in a chokehold smh), ffxiv, kaiju no. 8, bnha, idk I play a lot of video games.

I'm excited to put Eren in a context where he has to actually work with other people where he knows NOTHING about the world or the future or the past! :DDD

She’s gonna be freezing her nuts off because she’s getting Deadwood-in-the-summer attire. I also did the test drive meme with her the cycle before this round, but I think I’m going to start fresh with first impressions. C:

hello, everyone! i'm caitlin, and i'm completely new to the game with (1) jyn erso from a little independent film franchise called star wars, specifically the little independent film called rogue one: a star wars story. the brief rundown about jyn is that she is the daughter of a scientist conscripted for the empire on the death star project, spent a lot of her childhood in a rebel cell and much of her adult life on her own as a petty criminal, and then ultimately gave her life to get the death star plans to the rebel alliance. or, tl;dr — jyn is a bit like a feral cat in human form, a little hardened, hissy, and combative on the surface, but really loyal and caring when you get past that.

she's coming from her death at the end of rogue one, and she really isn't happy to be trapped on this unfamiliar snow hell planet, but i'm so happy to be here! you can find a general information/permissions post for her here, and feel free to add me on plurk at lensflares! i can also be found at lensflares on discord.

Welcome to the game! I'm Dem and I play a guy who also doesn't know what inflection or tactful conversation is. Levi comes from a terrible world of giant man-eating monsters where he was blackmailed into joining the military to fight them and is the only one of his peer group to survive until the end! fun! he's rude and not particularly nice, but he is kind and tends to help others, new or otherwise, plus he's one of the food catchers for the community at the moment. So we could deff say they've (briefly) met if you'd like, whether in the community hall or killing things hunting in the wilds.

(Levi also tends not to provide his name unless asked or given one first so it could be funny if they just keep That Guy-ing each other into next year lol)

HELLO EVERYONE I am so excited to be here, big thumbs up to Chase and Laus for haranguing me into the TDM and being excited for my bait and switch regardlessssss, haha!

I am bringing 1934 Arkham detective Arthur Lester to the table! He was a totally normal severely depressed private investigator until an eldritch being possessed him and killed his partner, and together they fight crime learn what it means to be human in the ways that matter.

He is from deeeeep in the canon, season 5 of an apparently planned 6, so he can seen All Sorts Of Shit. Or rather more literally, he has heard/smelled/been violently aggressed by The Horrors, since from the moment he was possessed by the Entity he was blind! This place is literally the first thing he has for real seen with his own eyes in literally five months!

His permissions are here - just disregard anything about his blindness, since that was supernaturally caused and he's a regular human dude here! Albeit one who's dealt with multiple other gods and realities on a regular basis, so all of this is old hat for him. Just point him to whichever God he has to fight with his bare hands and watch him go completely feral.

Hello! Chase here, player of Holland March, and I'm bringing you guys yet another substance abusing man from the 70s with a wedding ring around his neck. Thomas Zane is from Alan Wake/the Remedy Connected universe, with this iteration specifically being from Alan Wake 2. He's insanely creative, will flirt and touch anyone that moves, loves psychedelics and has gone absolutely off the deep end after being stuck in an eldritch nightmare realm for 50-odd years. If you can get past the cryptic bullshit and poetry he's actually quite a charming, observant guy and means well! Unfortunately he's also very manipulative and extremely shifty.

Feel free to notice that he looks exactly like Scratch and the newly arriving Alan Wake, as there's a canonical reason - even if he's the only one of the three that doesn't sound like Casper Darling, who's also here. Hello, hello! My name is Lily and I'm SO excited to be here! It's been a year in the making but I have finally made my way over.

I bring with me Ragnar Lothbrok from History Channel's Vikings. He's well known in Old Norse poetry and Icelandic saga's as a hero and explorer and leader, as well as being father to a team of sons who go off to make their own name. He's coming in from the end of season two, after killing the Danish King for screwing with his family and stealing his hometown. Fuck that guy. Anyway, his hair is way better season 2 and he's still mentally sound.
