Hey gang, I’m Giz and I’m dragging in Charles Rowland from the very-recently-canceled Dead Boy Detectives, a Netflix/DCU show about boys who are dead and are also detectives. Charles died in 1989 at sixteen-years-old, and had spent the last three decades working with his business (and platonic afterlife) partner to solve paranormal mysteries. He’s chatty, impulsive, probably ADHD, and carries his enchanted cricket bat everywhere.

He’s coming from the penultimate episode of his canon, and has just Orpheus-and-Eurydice’d his BFF out of the underworld while being pursued by a giant spider made of baby doll heads. So he’s doing great, and definitely won’t be desperate to find a way out for the first month or so. He has no survivalism skills to speak of, given that he’s a London lad who hasn’t had to survive anything for about thirty years. The last time he was in a forest, he very much died. He can, however, provide defense and morale. Just look at that smile, guys.

hello! i'm also new this round, and while i haven't watched dead boy detectives yet (it's on my list to get to soon), charles seems like an absolute delight, and i can see some really interesting cr between him and jyn; she's prickly on the surface, but i could her maybe taking him under her wing. she also approves of people who are just willing to hit things LMAO

I play Kate here from Life Is Strange, and I also play fellow dead boye Kieren from In The Flesh who Charles has already met on the TDM! I'm yet to watch DBD but I'm familiar with the premise, character, etc. due to reading the Sandman comics!

GIZ! Jhey here and I'm so hype to share a game with you again!! DBD has been on my watchlist forever, it looks super up my alley too and I definitely need to give it a watch soon. I was enjoying Charles and Jamie on the tdm and might poke back at her threads there for fun, but in the meantime it's GR8 to welcome you aboard B)

I have two horror guys here — Lieutenant Edward Little from The Terror (a nervous Victorian from the doomed Franklin Expedition who is confused by everything) and Commander Konstantin Veshnyakov sputnik from the movie Sputnik (a charismatic cosmonaut from the 80's who ended up infested with an alien parasite... as one does,)

Oh my god Arthur is going to adopt the shit out of him. He and Edwin would have been teenagers at the exact same point in time, only Arthur survived until 1934 on grit and grace. He's even a private investigator as well!
