Fate of the Forest Talkers

Hey Interlopers! It's your Head Mod Cheryl here!

Following the events of the September Event, the less-than-a-dozen young Forest Talkers who were successfully persuaded by Interlopers to stop their part in the attack and chose to defect from their group will be spared. The question remains of what will be done with them.

Regardless of choice, the former young Forest Talkers will no longer attack the Interlopers. They will be given talismans with Interloper blood to protect them from The Darkwalker’s influence.

This is a Player/OOC Vote. Majority wins.

Essentially, yes. It'll just become another building in the game. Although, player contact with the mod over what'll happen to it would be appreciated.

That's fine. As previously stated, should the poll be an Integrate result, the Lodge will be looted of remaining supplies for Milton anyways.

Can Jimbo have a talisman with FT blood to (redacted) from the Darkwalker's influence? For science etc

Arthur wants to learn how to carve talismans from the FT; he's been informed already that it requires Not Your Own Blood so he'll be wanting to see if any of them have more details.

...otherwise he'll ask for their help making more talismans for everyone else.

The Talismans mentioned are ones originally made by an Interloper! They were crafted originally by Heartman, who learned of a Ward Sigil from Methuselah — that was believed to protect people against the Darkwalker.

Heartman began crafting these Talismans for his fellow Interlopers, each of them anointed with blood with different bloods as a means of experimenting which would prove most effective. The results of which were revealed in the June event. While Heartman has since passed, his work remains in Milton — newer Interlopers can find out from those who've been in the world longer on how to craft them.
