I have a few items of note to bring up for players as we head into October.

First things first: as you know, Singillatim is a capped game, which runs at a maximum of 60 characters in the game at any one time. As the month of September draws to a close and we head into October, our character cap currently stands at 60 characters. Due to there being less than ten slots in the game to fill, we will not be opening applications for the month of October. We will reassess again in time for the December application round.

This means there will be no Test Drive Meme posted in October.

I know players had a lot of fun with our very special June event with the Darkwalker's presence looming for almost a full month over Interlopers for the Summer Solstice. However, I do realise that it did mean a lot of very plot heavy content for three months running. Singillatim was always meant to be a chill game (no, I'm not giving up that pun ever) — but I did want to do something extra special with it being the Solstice.

Moving forward, and considering the heaviness of September's event, while there will be an event of sorts in October — it won't be as heavy in terms on content. Instead, October will feature an event of supplemental content that players can choose to engage with (or not!). There'll be a focus on game lore that players can use for their characters to react to and discuss and they tackle the mysteries and world of the Northern Territories. Individual character logs are, as always, encouraged, as characters deal with the fallout of September's event and recover from the Forest Talker's attack.

Secondly: this is your final reminder for filling out the Interloper Survey and also deciding the Fate of the remaining Forest Talkers who defected from their group. Both of these will be closing at 7pm BST September 30th to give me time to get the Tales from the Northern Territories sorted out and begin on the video presentation for the survey. Please go fill them out if you haven't already done so!

TL;DR: no app round/TDM next month, chill event instead. Also please fill out the linked stuff, kthnx.
