Hi everyone! My name is Liv and you're welcome to friend me on chirality or whiskeyqueer @ discord. Fair warning I keep my plurk list fairly trim, so if we don't jive, no harm no foul, but I might remove you in the future. Feel free to reach out to plot, though!

I am bringing in Root from Person of Interest, aka Shaw's dead girlfriend. There are info and permissions in her journal.

Things about me: I work for a U.S. state government, which I normally love, but right now we are having trash rained down upon us from Elon Musk so it is suffering. In other words, I am a bit slower than normal. I try very hard not to drop threads and thank you for your patience in these trying times. 🙏 I have a very fluffy adorable dog and enjoy hobbies like reading, watching let's plays on YouTube, and completing my to do list every day. I also absolutely love the Long Dark and will be playing into the survival aspect as much as possible 👀

Things about Root: Root is a 38 year old chaos agent who operates to the beat of her own drum. She's a former contract killer and hacker, and she can swap identities and personas in the blink of an eye. A few years ago she spontaneously decided to reverse her life and start following a super-intelligent A.I. as a god and moral compass. She is largely a force for good these days, but sometimes she carries that out in questionable ways.

Her skills include cheeky humor, flirting, manipulating people, torturing people, withstanding torture herself, and assaulting people with metaphysical theorizing they absolutely did not ask for. She is extremely devoted to Shaw but is DTF hot intelligent women who could bite her hand off. She has a type. She really likes nerds and really dislikes boring men.

Hi, Liv! I'm Tess, and I play Chloe Frazer from Uncharted and Randvi from Assassin’s Creed.

Chloe is a fellow morality outsourcer (though she sources hers from a group of thieves lol) and will be delighted to discover that Root is Bullet Girl. Also right now Root is one of the few people who won't twig her Darkwalker curse so that's a bonus.

Randvi is a 9th-century Norse noblewoman so if you want an extremely incorrect explanation of how cellphones work (it's the aether) she's your woman.

RIP on the job situation, that sounds tough! I went through a US government-esque work situation last year and it was pretty draining.

I'm Lae and I am bringing Mr. Anthony Lockwood to snow apocalypses!

The fastest way to get ahold of me is to PM this journal. I do have a Discord (I do not do plurk) and I'm happy to friend anyone and everyone. I don't have notifications active on Discord, so if you need to get ahold of me quickly, PM this journal, and if I can, I will jump on Discord.

I am an auditor and I travel a lot for work, which impacts my tagging speed/availability. As a rule, when I have free time I can sit down and boomerang for hours, but drawn out backtags tend to get away from me. I have nothing against backtags, but I can't promise how fast I can get to them.

Lockwood: Ultra capable, highly charismatic young ghost hunter who still manages to be awkwardly emotionally stunted. Known as a flippant dickhead but is teachable and experiences solid character growth. He'll still stick his foot in his mouth, but he usually apologizes and tries to do better next time.

His ghost detecting abilities are nerfed, a fact with which he will struggle a bit in the beginning. His housing location is TBD.

Netflix did fans of Lockwood & Co dirty and canceled it after 1 season, but I am happy to talk about the canon/answer any questions! In his canon, children and teens are basically front line soldiers against The Problem with very short life expectancies. Adults hide in the safety of fortified buildings and effectively send children out to make them money/die in their stead. As such, Lockwood is not given to trusting or listening to the adults around him. I am ABSOLUTELY open to him learning to trust and seek the support of adults in game.

In his canon, Lockwood has the role and responsibilities of an adult. Things like drinking alcohol, and violence against teens/children is normalized. I totally understand if that makes people uncomfortable, feel free to hit up his permission post and opt-out entirely, or ask to discuss subjects you'd like to avoid when interacting with Lockwood.

Finally, while teens are considered "aged up" in his canon, he is not available for romantic shipping, even with characters his own age. I love to explore complex CR storylines, but with Lockwood it will be 100% Gen only.

hi and welcome! in max's canon kids don't often get to live out their childhoods and instead sometimes have to do awful shit so max might be able to recognize something familiar in lockwood. max is himself not always a trusting person and doesn't always treat kids any better than he does adults so i could imagine them seeing eye to eye that way!

I'm Noodle! She/they, female presenting but largely ambivalent to gender and non-binary. Very much queer. I am in my thirties, a staunch advocate and still living punk kid with a soap box and a dream. I also have a background in animal medicine so you might see me talk about this and all of the above on doggos my fandoms are legion for they are many.

I bring you a polar opposite to the grump Joel Miller (kidproof) in Dustin Henderson. The intelligent, hyperactive, lynchpin of his rag tag team of bandits trying to take on a nuclear-level small-town mayhem mystery.

He'll be coming in with his cat Mews who is like at this point immortal(?) Idk, but Dustin will be taking care of him wherever he winds up living. Mews will bring rats and guard the home.

Hello, friends. I'm Alexis, she/her. I'm in the midst of like four life things this month, so my deepest apologies for being spotty!

Natalie (adult version) is best described as having adult cat energy. Takes her a while to really trust people, but she's generally relaxed and liable to lounge around in "how is that comfortable" positions. She has just died in canon before appearing here :D She is no stranger to survival in cold climates, given she spent 19 months stranded in the Canadian wilderness with her high school soccer team when their plane crashed on the way to nationals. It's fine, everything is fine, there's absolutely noooooo lingering trauma from that.

I'm Ghost (he/him) and I'm new and super excited to be here with Deacon St John from the open world zombie-style apocalypse game, Days Gone who I've been hankering to write for a hot minute! A bit about me, I'm based in the UK, 30+, gay and queer, and I work in video games on the developer support and operations side of things, so every once in a while I collate cultural and market-based observations on the industry and make rambly plurks where I just dump a load of thoughts out. Unfortunately, I do love industry analysis. I also follow trends in Japanese anime figure collecting pretty closely, so I will occasionally ramble about expensive lumps of plastic. hello friends! my name is raye and this is my first dw rp game in about seven years! i was an avid rper since the ye old livejournal days until about 2018 when life started life-ing real hard. i dipped my toes back in a few months ago through some PSLs with friends, one thing led to another, and now i'm here!

i'm a dog groomer, working part time these days at a corporate salon. i'm mostly unavailable for rp things on the days i work (Sun, Mon, Thurs) as i'm emotionally/physically exhausted by the time i get home, but if you add me on plurk at raye_nbow, i usually post pictures of the doggos i groom. other fun facts include living in the rural south and usually not hating it, and living in a household of eight people (my parents, two siblings, my boyfriend, my husband, a family friend, and myself) and also usually not hating that either.

ANYWAY i am bringing you guys Tim Gutterson from the ten year old show Justified. he's a deputy u.s. marshal, spent eight years as a sniper with the army rangers, and if there's a way for him to make a conversation vaguely uncomfortable or awkward, he will find it. he's generally a cool, calm, and collected guy with a Weird sense of humor, but he's also an alcoholic with ptsd and is probably a hang-nail away from having a full-blown episode :)

he's totally emotionally unavailable but he makes a great drinking buddy! anyone who befriends him is subject to dick jokes, thems just the rules.

I work a really boring wfh job so I'm often around online during the day but I usually don't have tagging time until the evenings or weekends. I'm bringing Kat from the fairly new video game, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage. It's a really nice nostalgic trip that draws influence from IT, Twin Peaks, and the Craft and if you liked Life is Strange (it's by those folks) or any narrative driven game, I super recommend it. Kat is a 16-year-old girl from a small town in Michigan circa 1995. She grew up in a conservative religious family but she's got a rebellious streak and is super into punk, feminism, and witchcraft, among other things.
