Hello all! I'm Rachel/Mysterious Forest Creature, and I am a new player at Singillatim. This here is Shao Anjun, an Original Character consisting of approximately 5 of my deep interests shoved into a blender and spun into one consistent delicious milkshake. Was that a weird metaphor? Good, there's probably more where that came from.

Since this character has no canon for anyone to be familiar with, here is a very quick summary of who he is at the time of his arrival in-game. Shao Anjun is a very kind, polite, and cultured gentleman. He has been spirited to Milton from the Huaxia Empire, a place roughly analogous with modern-day/real-world China, where he has lived for most of his life. Up to now, he has been a wandering herbalist who traveled the countryside, curing illness and injuries with medicinal tonics in return for hospitality. He is also a martial artist with expertise in sword and empty-handed fighting styles, but he hasn't really used those skills much in years. He is also a werewolf, a war veteran, and a fugitive from the state. But really, you don't need to know any of that stuff, do you?

Please don't hesitate to say hi to me and to tag with Shao Anjun wherever he may show up. I am friendly, and Shao Anjun is even friendlier. This is the first time I have been in a game since like 2011, so there's a chance I might make some silly mistakes out of ignorance - please feel free to correct me if I do anything that I shouldn't! I am easy to reach via PM and I'm also active on Discord.

Hello again!! I was so delighted to see Shao Anjun on the tdm, October kicked my butt hard and I wasn't able to tag out as much as I hoped, but I'm super looking forward to Edward getting to encounter another version of your guy in the rp world :) He's such an interesting character and I can't wait to see what you do with him here. I'll definitely hit up his arrival log!

Hey, I was super excited to see you in this game when I checked the Taken list! I’d actually just done the TDM with Shao Anjun on a whim, because I tried it with a different character a few months back and while I loved the setting, the character really didn’t fit well. I knew there was a cast from the Terror here, but I hadn’t thought to look at who played Ned until I’d already tagged the TDM.

Anyway, yes, thank you for tagging his arrival log! I’m so excited to see how these two get along when they’re both adults - both sadder and more haunted, which is a pity for them but Delicious Drama for us. Unlike his child-self, this Shao Anjun is already pretty bemused by Ned and the other Terror Boys’ facial hair; I can’t wait to see what he thinks about all their snazzy modern 1840s cold weather gear!
