Character Name: La'an Noonien-Singh
Canon: Star Trek: Strange New Worlds
Residence: She's claimed a two-bedroom house near the edge of town.
Notable CR: No roomies or canonmates yet. :( She feels a bit of kinship with the Ancient Sailors she's met (especially Little), doesn't find Rorschach to be crazy or scary, and is somehow endeared toward the disaster duo of Wynonna and March. She's also fond of a grumpy football coach. (Don't ask her to explain these things.)

Wanted CR: People she can trust! Whether that's friends or simply others who are serious about protecting this freaky little town they're all trapped in. The dream would be for her to make some close friends she can really open up to because my girl is lonely. I'd love to build toward something in the romance department, it'll just need to be a slow burn because she lost someone right before her arrival here (spoilers). And definitely on the lookout for someone to take the spare room in her house.
Unwanted CR: No mortal enemies just yet! La'an can rub people the wrong way and be blunt as hell, but not looking for anything extremely negative.

Day to Day: On normal days, La'an spends a lot of her free time patrolling the town, taking stock of supplies, and other general Security Things. Protecting people is her life's work and she's not stopping in this frozen hellscape. However, she will be recovering from pneumonia through December, slowly increasing her stamina and strength, so be prepared for an occasionally grumpy Security Officer.

The Story So Far / Plans: La'an spent the first two months of her time in Milton surviving and keeping mostly to herself. Out of fear for the stability of the timeline, she didn't reveal to anyone that she was from the future, nor did she share her full name with anyone. After her camping trip with Methuselah, though, and the pneumonia she brought back as a souvenir, she's pretty much over the whole secrecy thing. She's accepted they aren't going anywhere fast, and if her actions mess with the timeline, she'll find a way to fix it. In the meantime, she's determined to keep doing everything she can to protect the people trapped in this town, including trying to track down information about the mysterious Enola.

Anything Else?: Her list of skills also includes being able to out-drink a Klingon.

Hickey is slowly getting balls-deep in the mythology of this place (and his own little weird mythology that he thinks fits into this place) so if he hears that Laan had a fun little camping trip, he'll be on her like white on rice.

TELL HIM ALL THE SECRETS and also maybe how to trap an animal, he's learning by experience and struggling a bit here

SUPER BELATEDLY. She'll share secrets and teach him so long as there are no shenanigans. She doesn't put up with unruly ensigns and that will absolutely extend to troublemaking sailors! Insert stern face here. (But she is a good teacher, so he might learn something if he tries hard enough.)
