OOC INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Singillatim!
Glad you could be here! We hope you have a great time here in the Quiet Apocalypse. Don't lose too many fingers, this weather bites. Feel free to use this post to introduce yourself and your character and get to know your fellow players! Once you're accepted into the communities, feel free to start posting!

Hey all! My name is Ink and I'm new here, bringing you Fiddleford McGucket from the Disney show Gravity Falls. Known for its wacky hijinks, emotional overarching plot, and that one time a room full of taxidermy animal heads started dripping blood out of their mouths and chanting ANCIENT SINS ANCIENT SINS over and over. For kids!

Fiddleford is... a lot. Upon first meeting him he usually comes off as a polite and somewhat jumpy nerd of a guy, and that's technically true, but under that are other much more troubling layers. He's a husband and father who just got turbo divorced and is not taking it well. He's got his foot in the door of being an evil mad scientist complete with having unleashed at least one homicidal robot on a town already (in response to the afore-mentioned divorce). Most notably he founded and now runs an underground cult dedicated to erasing bad memories out of people's heads, which is a normal and helpful thing to do and not incredibly troubling at all. He did come in with the device he uses to do this, and you can find information about it as well as an opt-in on my Permissions Page. If you do not give me permission there or approach me personally some other way I will default assume that modifying your character's memory in any way is off the table, so don't worry about having it sprung on you. He comes with a pretty heavy blanket warning for unreality, lost time, memory issues, paranoia, and some other stuff I touch on more in my permissions post. You are free to opt out of playing with those parts of his character or with me as a whole any time, no hard feelings!

You can contact me from the game Discord; my UN over there is Possumbreath. My plurk is mister_inkwell but for my own sanity I try to keep my timeline very small. Still, I have PP's from non-friends turned on, so if you can't get ahold of me any other way that is an option!

Hell yeah! I've already done this canon point in a game where he couldn't keep the ray, got help and managed to unfuck himself so now I am going all in on doing the opposite. He's gonna have a bad time.

Honestly I have never heard of The Terror and I'm beyond delighted to be in a game with so many characters I don't recognize. It means I get to learn about everybody's messed up little guys.

Ink!! This is Jhey, I'm so stoked to be sharing a game with you and Fiddleford again, excited to see what Hijinks and Shenanigans he gets up to here! I've got two horror guys (big surprise....) here:

— yet another muttonchopped Terror Guy: 1st Lieutenant Edward Little, affectionately and derogatorily known as the Sad Wet Dog of fandom.... who has been coping with the ongoing horrors of his situation (things such as being stuck in the ice, scurvy, lead poisoning, mutiny, & cannibalism!) by refusing to adapt and hanging onto who he's always been, believing that Decency will save everyone! Didn't end well for him in canon, probably won't end well for him here... He's also painfully easy to manipulate, and to fuck with, just for reference,

— Sputnik's Konstantin Veshnyakov, who is a Hero of the Soviet Union, a Commander, handsome & charming & now riddled with aliens! He's coming in fresh out of being kept against his will at a Soviet military facility where he was being used as a lab rat, so he has a healthy dose of his own paranoia about this place... and will be Attempting Escape, fruitlessly. He's very "fallen Hero dealing with crisis" at the moment, and showed up in his dumb little track suit with the world's tightest white teeshirt beneath, so his Depression Era is happening like that... He's also a dad! Albeit a failed one who accidentally continued the cycle of being abandoned by his own father, oh no!

SO those are just some Things that could be fun to fuck with, in general I'm just very much looking forward to playing with you again!
