Hello world! Chase here, March's player, with the polar opposite of the village idiot: Heartman from insanely confusing video game Death Stranding. Heartman is a scientist from a post-apocalyptic au of America who has dedicated his life to studying what the hell happened--specifically, his research is about the world between the living and the dead that's become a problem, to put it lightly. He's got a very sad, tragic backstory but he remains a very strange little nerd despite his hard(heart?)ships. He's going to be delighted about the chance to study this place, less delighted he has to leave his important work behind, and generally be a curious and hopeful guy who has no social awareness whatsoever.

He also has a pretty serious heart condition. In canon Heartman goes into cardiac arrest every 20 minutes and dies for 3, spending that time searching for his family in order to move on with them. This has been nerfed in sing but he's still going to have a lot of medical problems, so if any doctor/medicine types want dibs on that CR then let me know!

Hey, Fey here, after Erich I bring in Astarion who couldn't be more different. He's a character from the critically acclaimed game Baldur's Gate 3 and he's the local vampire you can have in your group. You heard it right. Vampire. Undead. He has zero blood circulation and zero ability to produce heat, he's going to have so much fun trying not to turn into a very undead elvish statue. He has also been stripped of all the nice 'perks' he had and only left with sunlight sensitivity, the inability to cross a river because water will hurt like acid and a nice fancy thirst. I won't t too much into details becaue he's a walking red flag, permissions will be here and 'canon info' about his story here. He also comes with the Best Boy at his side.

He's going to be very loud, probably keep up his act of just being a judge like he once used to be and study people in the city to see if he can take advantage of anything. He'll also probably think of nice sweet necks but unless you ask I'm not going to have him attempt anything weird. He'll keep running the nobleman-judge stuff as long as he can but know that despite his theatrical nature he's a man with plenty of trauma that comes from 200 years of slavery as a vampire spawn. Make sure you hit that Permission Post to inform me about any topic that may bother you too much. I am probably not going to go into details unless it's someone I discussed things with or who is canon familiar, but at the same case I'd rather not even graze potentially upsetting topics for people.

He also looks super friendly but trust literally so... while I'm open to any CR, the gods know he could use some friends, I'm also welcoming with open arms any negative CR that may make him feel threatened. Huh, what else? You can find me on discord over at _erichthonios_

Hi, Sing peeps! New player Carly here with a new character and am excited to officially be joining the game! Lanfear is from The Wheel of Time — most notably, the recent television adaptation, but I've also leaned on the books for any relevant backstory or other plot details that transpire before where she's introduced in the second season. She's one of the thirteen ancient magic wielders notoriously known as the Forsaken, who swore their allegiance to her world's Dark One in exchange for various things (for Lanfear in particular, it was to not only gain power but the affection of her ex-lover, aka the Dragon, who ditched her for his wife, what a loser). Ultimately, said ex sealed her away (along with the Dark One and all the other Forsaken) for thousands of years, where she existed in a dreamless sleep until she was set free more recently to wreak havoc. Also, her ex is now reincarnated in the form of a different person, and Lanfear has her sights set on not only making the Dragon Reborn fall in love with her but also turning him to the dark side.

For the purposes of her arrival in-game, she'll be operating under the alias she initially uses in Season 2 before her identity is uncovered — Selene, an unassuming innkeeper who clearly has no evil intentions whatsoever, and certainly no ulterior motives about getting her power back. (Have I mentioned she's very unhappy about not having access to her abilities?) Stripped of those, she'll be looking for people she can lean on/seduce/otherwise manipulate to get her what she needs in the meantime, and trying to remain on her best behavior so she doesn't arouse any suspicion about who she really is.

Lanfear/'Selene' sounds very interesting! Lestat here is currently doing something similar in terms of trying to manipulate his way into good standing make a good impression on the locals, so perhaps there's an opportunity for synergy in goals here.

Hello Carly! I remember playing with you waaaay back in the days of Deerington (I was the Peter Graham from Hereditary); it's great to bump into you again!! I'm canonblind, but your lady sounds amazing, and I really look forward to seeing what she'll get up to in game here.

I have two... obscure horror guys (I GUESS THAT'S MY BRAND): Lieutenant Edward Little from The Terror (Victorian naval officer who is trying his hardest to Keep Order around here but is incredibly easy to manipulate~) and Commander Konstantin Veshnyakov from Sputnik (cosmonaut who comes with a gnarly alien parasite that he picked up while in space). I would love to toss them her way sometime, see how things shake out!!

Hey, gang! Jhey here, current player of The Terror's Edward Little, bringing in another obscure horror guy.... aka Konstantin Veshnyakov from the Russian horror film Sputnik. He's a Soviet spaceman commander from the early 80's who ended up a) as the unwilling host of a parasitic alien entity while up on a mission, and b) subsequently kept against his will in a military research facility as a lab rat, so he hasn't been having a great time these days. Said alien lives in his stomach, and will be here with him in game, albeit weakened and affected by the extremely cold setting. (I have detailed information here on his situation / the alien + its nerfing factors!) The most alarming matter here is likely the fact that the creature will be spending most of its time inside of its host, meaning that he will have to procure food for it, himself. While its preferred diet comes from people, Kostya will be working very hard to keep it satisfied by feeding on the blood/brains of animals. Should be fine!

Konstantin is coming in freshly suffering a fatal wound, and while the Aurora has healed him enough so that he's not dying, he's currently very bad off due to his internal injuries and the effects of having a very unnatural passenger occupying his body, in a place where he has little-to-no access to medication. Upon his arrival into the game, he can be seen doing such activities as: passing out in the snow, throwing up blood, and convulsing on occasion. He also comes with heaping doses of Dad Guilt, and will initially be trying his hardest to escape this place so that he can go collect his son, despite the fact he can currently barely walk without passing out! Oops!

Given the fact that this character comes with some pretty gnarly horror elements, if anyone needs to opt out of a particular thing, please do not hesitate to do so. I have a list of content warnings here, and comments are screened.

Hello, I'm Cass. And I'm bringing Damian Wayne aka the fifth Robin. He's a little guy with a lot of rage in his heart and a rather extreme amount of problems for someone his size. He's a former child assassin who found his dad after spending his whole childhood in the dark about him and decided to make an attempt at being a superhero, with only a couple attempts at murdering Tim along the way. Four years later he ran away from home after Alfred died.

He has a fair amount of experience with survival and hunting as a result of a comically extreme amount of training when he was a kid, so he's going to be trying to make himself useful while being crabby and grumpy about it.

Damian can be pretty hard to get close to but he has a soft spot for other kids who have had it rough and have been used by adults. And also for animals, which makes Tim Drake his natural enemy.

Hey all! My name is Ink and I'm new here, bringing you Fiddleford McGucket from the Disney show Gravity Falls. Known for its wacky hijinks, emotional overarching plot, and that one time a room full of taxidermy animal heads started dripping blood out of their mouths and chanting ANCIENT SINS ANCIENT SINS over and over. For kids!

Fiddleford is... a lot. Upon first meeting him he usually comes off as a polite and somewhat jumpy nerd of a guy, and that's technically true, but under that are other much more troubling layers. He's a husband and father who just got turbo divorced and is not taking it well. He's got his foot in the door of being an evil mad scientist complete with having unleashed at least one homicidal robot on a town already (in response to the afore-mentioned divorce). Most notably he founded and now runs an underground cult dedicated to erasing bad memories out of people's heads, which is a normal and helpful thing to do and not incredibly troubling at all. He did come in with the device he uses to do this, and you can find information about it as well as an opt-in on my Permissions Page. If you do not give me permission there or approach me personally some other way I will default assume that modifying your character's memory in any way is off the table, so don't worry about having it sprung on you. He comes with a pretty heavy blanket warning for unreality, lost time, memory issues, paranoia, and some other stuff I touch on more in my permissions post. You are free to opt out of playing with those parts of his character or with me as a whole any time, no hard feelings!

he was picked up by some squids, got a squid baby shoved into his eyeball, and now it's kinda just hanging around in his skull. don't worry about it

Hey, I'm Lorna, currently here with resident disaster human Wynonna Earp and now bringing Benton Fraser of Due South, along with his deaf companion wolf, Diefenbaker! Fraser has recently been kicked out of Canada reassigned to the Canadian Consulate in Chicago, and is probably the only Interloper to be happy that he got dumped into a frozen wasteland. He grew up in the Northwest Territories! This is great!

Fraser is super polite, extremely naive, and a hardy survivalist. He's probably going to latch onto the other military/law enforcement types and will almost certainly come knocking on your door at some point asking if you'd like some pine needle tea or if you need any wood chopped, socks darned, or deer hunted. He may tell a long-winded Inuit story with a moral. He will certainly listen very politely to your life story. Diefenbaker will befriend literally anyone for food. Just please don't dress him up.

Howdy all, my name's Coeurl and I'm dropping this random unpleasant twink on your doorstep like a cat with a dead lizard. Tobi is my Lone Wanderer from Fallout 3, a malleable protagonist in Bethesda's post-apocalyptic Oblivion With Guns. Unfortunately, he's from a negative karma playthrough, which means if you haven't taken a gander at the content warnings in his permissions yet please do so, because. Oof.

The good news is he's got a lot of handy survival skills from his extremely horrific almost-year of living in a hostile radioactive wasteland, and he's generally inclined to help people out as long as they're decently chill about it! The bad news is he's annoying and he commits war crimes when his feelings are hurt :\

Hi, everyone! I am Lia, brand new to the game, bringing with me Sam Carpenter from the two most recent entries in the Scream franchise. Sam is the biological daughter of one of the franchise's original killers, a secret she uncovered by accident when she was thirteen. Since then, Sam has been grappling with what it means to be a serial killer's daughter. It doesn't help that she occasionally sees visions of her father encouraging her to give in to her darkest urges. More recently, Sam survived two copycat murder sprees in the span of six months, the first of which was orchestrated in part by her then-boyfriend, so she is currently just a tightly wound ball of under-processed trauma with severe trust issues.

hello, everyone.. i have already been in the game for a while (i'm jelle (queeningsquare) and i play bigby "weird dog guy" wolf) but now i'm bringing in a second!! this is william gibson from the terror! but you can call him billy.

he is yet another guy belonging to that crew of ye olde sailors stuck in milton now. he's a steward to the lieutenants of the crew, which means he's really great at mending clothes and tuning out rambling he doesn't really want to listen to. he's also got a Thing going on with hickey-- not simply lovers, not weird friends, but a secret third thing (toxic divorced then married with a ring stolen off a corpse, yes, in that order, also [spoilers redacted]).

due to being what he is (a very, very gay man in the 19th century navy), billy is the human embodiment of a clam and hesitates to share pretty much any thought or emotion whatsoever. there's a lot in there, but he first needs to get comfortable with you before he's actually willing to share anything. i'd love for people who can pry this man a little bit open.. please, just talking would solve like 90% of his problems.

since this is the terror, billy does come with some content warnings (see them at the top of my app here), but they are very unlikely to actually come up since billy also doesn't want to talk about any of them, honestly. but just so you're aware!

Hi everyone! I'm Tess, new to the game. I just got back into DWRP this (last now I guess lol) May and I'm excited for my girls to have a bad time!

I'm bringing in two polar opposites: Chloe Frazer from Uncharted, a 38-year-old all-purpose criminal who just learned how to care about people yesterday, is not taking it well, and has never met a responsibility she hasn't immediately tried to foist off onto someone else; and Randvi (meadqueen) from Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, who is nearly a decade younger and has been essentially running a village on her own for two years.

Chloe does not trust all these nice people trying to help each other unfortunately, and despite all the tomb raiding she's not all that great at wilderness survival so she's probably going to be looking for a manipulative weirdo she can be self-destructive with in exchange for help on that front because that's a dynamic she sees as more predictable…

Randvi actually knows how to do stuff like hunt and survive in the cold but her canon point is almost exactly 1000 years earlier than the first patent was registered for a doorknob so she will need help in other ways.

Hello, and welcome aboard!! I really enjoyed the TDM with Kostya and Randvi and am totally down to keep it canon if you like, unless you'd rather start fresh! Either way I thought those two were super interesting and I'm looking forward to doing more with them in-game; handshake meme Complicated Parental Feelings.....

Also think it'll be fun with them coming from very different time periods; Konstantin is going to need help Surviving Here (especially since his stubborn ass is going to keep Attempting To Escape and inevitably end up passed out in the snow.... also he's going to have to learn how to Eat Wild Animals to keep his alien pal satisfied, and this man has definitely never hunted a day in his life), but he's also really good with technology & scientific things due to all his cosmonaut training, so he could help her out with some more modern advancements in exchange...

Hello hello, Sing. I'm Drizz Aaaaaaaand i've basically been thinking about getting into this game forever. But I finally did! I'm also the reason the game has rules concerning robotic characters - hence my character pick here...

this is Uzi Doorman. from Murder Drones. A lovely little web show about cute robots who murder each other for reasons. Uzi is a edgy, rebellious teen who is bad at socializing and generally self-concious about things. She was also inhabited by an eldritch AI bent on destroying what's left of humanity and gifting her various super powers.

What? Don't worry about it.

She's a robot so she's moderately better at surviving in these conditions, but don't expect her to be invincible.

Wolfwood here is a tremendous asshole, built like a Marvel superhero with emo hair, a nicotine addition that's going to get dire when his single pack runs out, and a traumatic backstory that he won't be sharing with anybody. He likes drinking heavily, friendly fistfights, and quiet days.

He'll be spending his first month or so running around still convinced that he's dead and lowkey freaking out about everything. If you're looking for negative or abrasive CR, he's your guy!
