Glad you could be here! We hope you have a great time here in the Quiet Apocalypse. Don't lose too many fingers, this weather bites. hello, everyone.. i have already been in the game for a while (i'm jelle (queeningsquare) and i play bigby "weird dog guy" wolf) but now i'm bringing in a second!! this is william gibson from the terror! but you can call him billy.

he is yet another guy belonging to that crew of ye olde sailors stuck in milton now. he's a steward to the lieutenants of the crew, which means he's really great at mending clothes and tuning out rambling he doesn't really want to listen to. he's also got a Thing going on with hickey-- not simply lovers, not weird friends, but a secret third thing (toxic divorced then married with a ring stolen off a corpse, yes, in that order, also [spoilers redacted]).

due to being what he is (a very, very gay man in the 19th century navy), billy is the human embodiment of a clam and hesitates to share pretty much any thought or emotion whatsoever. there's a lot in there, but he first needs to get comfortable with you before he's actually willing to share anything. i'd love for people who can pry this man a little bit open.. please, just talking would solve like 90% of his problems.

since this is the terror, billy does come with some content warnings (see them at the top of my app here), but they are very unlikely to actually come up since billy also doesn't want to talk about any of them, honestly. but just so you're aware!

oh gosh, me too!! so much of the appeal of playing from this series is to get the interactions we never see in canon...

I literally never use this icon in game so I'll use it now.... it's so bizarre to see Ned grinning... but BILLY BOY!! I am so excited to have him in game.... and to explore more of the relationships we never got to see directly on-screen! (Apologies for my slow butt on the tdm, but I am down to continue that thread for a bit longer if you like!!) Ned taking care of the steward a bit this time...

Also the awkwardness that he Knows about what Hickey did to this man and ofc has no idea that they Have Romantic History, so Edward is just going to be extremely nervous and worried about Billy's safety........

also it's so funny that ned is out there so worried about billy's safety and meanwhile billy is.. literally sharing a house and a bed with hickey..... i'm so sorry, ned... at least billy is going to endeavour to make sure ned never finds out where he's living in milton because of that!!!

Oh boy, another Terror for Fraser to fanboy over!

Constable Fraser here is canonically fascinated with the Franklin Expedition and is on a mission now to get all their autographs get to know them all. He's also extremely soothing and a good listener, so if Billy doesn't mind potentially listening to a few well-meaning Inuit stories, Fraser may well be a good option for someone to talk to!

i believe in him, though!!! you can pry billy open (E-EMOTIONALLY, NOT LITERALLY, NOT AGAIN!!), fraser, you can do it... i'll make sure to hit him up so we can get some cr starter!
