Glad you could be here! We hope you have a great time here in the Quiet Apocalypse. Don't lose too many fingers, this weather bites. Ah, a fellow man with extremely fine tastes when it comes to food! I'd be delighted to meet another classy and elegant gentleman like Lestat. What could ever go wrong?

We just have to figure out how. Any suggestion? Otherwise I can brainstorm things If you can tell me what Lestat is up to.

Currently Lestat is playing the part of benevolent, slightly frivolous hunter contributing to the community via extremely well-drained meat. He's also in the middle of an extremely messy and awful situationship with the other vampire in town, Louis de Pointe du Lac, which people are unfortunately being subjected to in a slow motion disaster.

It'd be pretty easy for me to just have Lestat approach Astarion on the next event/open post - they're both extremely good looking, they're both gentlemen of class, they're both missing the urbane culture of any place with a population over a hundred. Save him from talking to teenagers and bumpkins, Astarion.

Oh my gosh- I didn't know and I also wrote that Astarion will try to do the same. Try to buy people's good will by bringing in dead animals. My apologies if this fellow vampire will step on his turf in that sense. As for the relationship? I can see only Astarion watching the chaos unfold while sitting in a corner and sipping on a cup of, ah, fine red.

Astarion is going for the 'pompous nobleman who doesn't know too well what he's doing' act, but yes, he would love to talk with a fellow gentleman. Life is so difficult in a small isolated community where they all know each other and anyone would notice a series of bloodless murders with ease.

Not turf stepping at all! I actually think it's a) very funny b) good potential CR material that they'd both wind up picking the same general strategy for integrating into a community, since it really just makes logical sense for vampires. There's plenty of game to hunt, too, so perhaps an opportunity to work together at least once or twice?
