Eeyy, it's Amy, back with another traumatized badass lady after sacrificing La'an to the Darkwalker in January. I'm happy to be back and looking forward to all the things.

Daisy here, however, is the furthest thing from happy about this situation. She's a millennial hacker spy turned part-alien superhero from Marvel's unloved stepchild show Agents of SHIELD, and she just finished saving the world again, so being stuck in this frozen hellscape seems like a really shitty reward for (probably?) dying to save all of humanity. Especially since she no longer has access to her powers, which is really going to throw her off-balance for obvious and more traumatic reasons.

Because yeah, my poor girl has a whole suitcase full of trauma she carries around with her. She grew up an orphan in and out of foster homes, never finding anywhere to call home until she joined SHIELD, only to have it fall apart when HYDRA came out of the woodwork. She got the "surprise! you're part-alien" news right around the time she found her parents (her dad was a Jekyll & Hyde serial killer and her mom tried to destroy all of baseline humanity), followed by a brainwashing incident, being trapped in a hellscape alternate reality, and traveling to an apocalyptic future she maybe helped cause. In the month before she arrived in-game, her father-figure mentor was brought back from the dead as a highly advanced robot, she time-traveled through 90 years of SHIELD history, was tortured by a delusional rich kid who stole her powers, watched said rich kid kill her mother, and blew up an entire invading alien fleet from the inside right after connecting with a long-lost sister and an almost romance. She's really, really Tired, and she's going to go through serious withdrawal without her laptop and phone.

Since even most MCU fans haven't seen AOS, I have a little playlist of videos for anyone who wants a glimpse of Daisy in action! (I'm obviously biased, but imo she has one of the best hero's journeys of the entire MCU.)

RP osmosis is kind of the name of the game with her. And yes, we need to finally get some actual CR!! I shall be keeping an eye out for your plans for the next event.

HELL YEAH I think Kieren might be interesting CR with her since he's not 'completely human' and also it's nice for him to know non-mundanes tbh.

Jhey here, I'm so excited to have you back in the game!!! I'm canonblind to Daisy but she sounds like such a delight and I would love to toss my guys at her sometime ♥ I'm always down for Ned getting Startled by Badass Ladies From The Future, and I also think my other character could be really interesting to write with her. Konstantin is a space commander from the 80's who picked up a gnarly alien parasite on a mission, and it's here with him in game; fun times and hooray for being "part alien" in some shape or form....!

Jheeeeeey! I desperately need your beautiful words back in my inbox, I have missed them so. And I would love to fling Daisy at both your guys — Ned is from even further back in time than she's experienced, and she absolutely needs to discuss alien things with Konstantin. She'd see visions of Alien in her head if she heard the word parasite, and she'd have so many questions...

THE FEELING IS MUTUAL, I have dearly missed me some Amy tags!!! La'an was such a delight (and her impact has absolutely shaped Ned's trajectory btw!) I'm super looking forward to doing things with your new girl as well, and I do think she would be a fascinating person for Kostya to meet. He's considered a "Hero" in his culture — literally, he was awarded a medal... but a great deal of that is very much a Status Symbol, since cosmonauts / commanders are revered in a particular way. Meanwhile, it sounds like Daisy has had a plethora of genuinely heroic experiences, so I love the idea of someone like him who kind of exists as A Figure / Posterchild meeting someone like her. Plus there's so much he could learn from her, and he's so new to his own harrowing alien-related experiences that I think it would be pretty meaningful to have someone like her around. All this rambling to say I'm looking forward to the potential here!!

(And I'm laughing because Alien pretty freshly came out in his time and shook the world, plus there's a TON of uncertainties about his little parasite problem, so he is lowkey-maybe-highkey concerned he might end up like that...! Please, no Bursting...)

I watched a little bit of agents of shield but not a whole lot. So I am at least aware of who Daisy is???????

Either way I'd love to toss Ruby her way and see what sort of trouble they can get into. Ruby can relate to not having her powers and being very very tired of what was going on back in her own world before showing up here.

Thank you!! And having seen a little of AoS is more than most people can say.

Not having their powers is the worst, and Daisy could use someone who can understand that. So absolutely sign me up for things with these two!

I've noticed! Part of me does want to go back and give it another try because I have heard it's got it's moments as it goes along.

I'll keep an eye out once the plotting post comes up for things the two of them could do.

It definitely has some incredible arcs! This series trailer might help convince you to give it a second chance.

I look forward to it! Daisy will need some shenanigans to distract her from everything being awful.
