[ Something sexy to talk about, a way to pass the time, nothing serious. Nothing real. Lalo, for his part, isn't worried about Chloe being able to actually kill him, which is why he can so freely talk about her winning the way he does.

But perhaps he should be more worried than he is.

Lalo looks out at the sea of people, rubbing his mustache like he often does when he's thinking, and trying to decide who he wants to inflict Chloe on. There's no jealousy whatsoever as he thinks about who he'd pair her with; if she was worried about him getting attached, she doesn't need to be.

If anything, just talking to her like this, like a co-conspirator, almost feels a little bit more natural than anything else. ]
