Character Name: Konstantin Sergeyevich Veshnyakov. Depending on whom he's met and how, he's introduced himself different ways...
Canon: Sputnik
Note: This character comes with a parasitic alien entity that he unwillingly became host to while on a space mission... There is more information here on the alien, how the setting affects/nerfs parts of its functioning, and a link to more detailed warnings & an opt out, if anyone needs it!
Residence: In a small cabin on the outskirts of town, with Vasiliy Yegorovich Ardankin. They have a little grouse farm going in order to keep Kostya's alien... fed
Skills: As a Commander of the Cosmonaut Corps, Konstantin is well-accustomed to the role of leadership, and also has experience with the extremely vigorous physical and mental training required for both military and cosmonaut preparation. He has much knowledge of space science and technology, and plenty of experience being in confined environments. He's also extremely good with people, being a model of "social excellence" where he's from and regarded as the Exemplary Soviet Man... However, a lot of this is being tested since he is freshly infected with an entire alien and is weakened and sick due to the game effects
Aurora Feat: N/A, his possessed ass has enough going on atm

Wanted CR:

young folks — Kostya comes with heaping doses of Daddy Issues (having been abandoned by his own father as a child, being terrified to ever be a father himself, and ending up inadvertently abandoning his own 7-year-old son, whom he is now desperate to rescue from an orphanage)... I'd love for him to meet and inevitably get attached to some younger folks, for all the angsty fun. I'm down to explore anything organically, but in the long-term I'd love for him to develop some Dadly Feelings.... (Alternatively, if anyone were to dad him, that would also be a really interesting cr angle!)

fellow 'monsters' — Konstantin is regarded as a Hero back where he's from (80's Soviet Russia, literally, he has a medal....) and now deals with themes such as being a fallen hero, being a monster, "if the thing inside me feeds on humans, does that also make me A Cannibal & Murderer", etc.... In Singillatim, he will be keeping it satisfied with the brains/blood of animals, but that in itself will be very difficult for him to grapple with! I'd love to explore his newfound journey of "being a Monster" with other characters who might have experience or angsts with this kind of thing.

misc. things — folks around his own age (39); fellow folks from the 80's; fellow people with Suicide / I Shouldn't Still Be Alive themes; other Parents he could get to know (especially meaningful as he's someone who never identified as A Parent until very recently and doesn't know what to make of such a role); medical people (he comes with an undiscovered alien species, could be fun Talk??? but also he really needs to make connections with doctors probably); people he can Casually & Innocently Flirt With; people to chat about outer space or science-y things with; he's frequently Sick and Throwing Up Blood, so that could also be worked with; general "exploring the town / searching for information / a way out" shenanigans if anyone wants to join (or catch him); if anyone might want to meet his alien face to face sometime that could be a fun thing (y-yeah he.... hacks it up), although it won't be emerging as often here and would require a good deal of plotting, since he's making a lot of effort to keep it away from anyone; seeing how the alien reacts to his various cr is also always fun, given that it's sensitive to his physiological reactions (if he has positive experiences with someone then it would be more attached to them, if someone upsets him then it'd be aggressive towards them, etc...)

Unwanted CR:

romance — While Kostya can be an enormous flirt, he's not going to be letting it get further than anything surface level / friendly / "safe". He's also married to Vasiliy (platonically.... right? right? it's possible to platonically share a bed, men do it all the time). Currently experiencing a plethora of complicated feelings towards said housemate that he isn't certain how to identify.

Day to Day: puttering around the grouse farm, taking walks / jogging around town in attempt to stay in shape (and trying to rope others in to join him), trying to learn about the various people here and where they're from to draw any patterns or connections (he's still largely thinking that this is some sort of research / experimental facility going on), on Aurora Nights he's often out trying to work with the technology that temporarily functions and he's been bringing back various pieces of technology such as car, phone, & computer parts to tinker with.... trying to see what he can do with them

The Story So Far / Plans:

• trying to adjust.... recovering as best as he can from being brought back from a fatal gunshot wound to the gut, but also dealing with the fact His Worm can't heal him here and that his own condition is Consistently Bad
• having to learn how to feed the parasite himself, which has been a difficult & messy process. Wormy has his own struggles
• has been bumping into a few other people Feeding on Animals in Violent Ways
• in March, Vasiliy joined the expedition heading to Lakeside, which Konstantin very much wanted to go on (please let The Spaceman have a mission...) but had to stay behind through, due to his own condition. Devastated for the week he was separated from Vasiliy. Forced many people to jog with him around town as a distraction
• Vasiliy brought back an abandoned dog from Lakeside and has been trying to train him.... but it's not going gr8
• Vasiliy met The Alien face to face and helped it during an Aurora Night, which it is very frightened of
• smiling through The Horrors and probably due for a mental breakdown ab it
• thinking about finally trying to reach out to some of The Doctors around here about his "medical condition"... but very cautious about it
• suffering especially through April's fog, getting some help from Lightbringers
• soon I'm thinking about having The Alien munch on an NPC... Feeding from humans would stabilise its condition better than feeding from animals, so it could do with some People Brains... if anyone might want to be involved with that somehow

Hello hello~ I want to mash these two together so much. "Alien-infested" is like shining the bat signal in the night sky for the Doctor, so he would latch on quickly. The Doctor is personable anyway, but yes, once he was aware of this, it would certainly draw him closer. Though prior to any knowledge of Konstantin's condition, the Doctor would just like him in general! I always hesitate saying "they'd get along" as I never want to assume until we get a chance to shove them at each other, but I do see so much potential for them.

Other points of shared interest:
→ Space science and technology
→ Status as a father = hahaha it's complicated and tragic let's ignore because his children are likely dead (let's not)
→ Fellow "Monster" - He's not technically, at least not in the way of Konstantin, but there's a recurring thread throughout his canon where the Doctor is referred to as 'the lonely monster,' i.e. monster in the sense of the things he's done. He often lives through real-life versions of the Trolley Problem and makes hard choices for the greater good that are...not always great. His self-loathing, it runs deep. This makes him, though, naturally so empathetic to "monsters" and creatures that others might ordinarily run from without taking a second look.
→ Other things — meeting his alien, "doctor-ing." In canon, the Doctor has the ability to diagnose diseases (sometimes, sometimes not, canon plays fast and loose with this) by looking at someone, so he's stripped of that here obviously, and he's not a traditional doctor Doctor in a certain sense of the word, but he'd be fascinated and want to help
→ Would love tinkering with any and all technology with him!

Yes PLEASE, I am so here for this space-y cr!!! Absolutely itching to see how they might play out organically, but I can also see them getting on pretty well; Konstantin is very sociable and friendly, and I think he would be delighted by the Doctor in general!

I'm also rubbing my hands together gleefully at all of these thoughts, there's so much potential here ahhhh~ Very very much here for all of the space & technology themes; Kostya would be thrilled to chat with someone who has future knowledge / so much fascinating experience and absolutely want to pick his brain / form buddies to tinker with some technology together.

And the Sad Dad / Monster themes would all be very good food; a lot of Kostya's deal also involves making Difficult Decisions (tl;dr when he was being kept in the research facility, he knew they were feeding humans to his alien but he let it keep happening without challenging it because a. they were horrible criminals and b. he would do whatever it took to eventually escape so he could find & rescue his son.... but it led into a lot of Moral and Ethical Conundrums about Human Lives and whatnot....!) SO beyond just the literal Monstery Things going on with him, there is a plethora of fun "The Things I've Done" angsts there, too. I love that the Doctor has that "lonely monster" theme ahhhh that's so gut-wrenching and I think it'd be extremely fun to explore themes like that with these guys!

And definitely here for all the alien things / "doctoring"!!! Kostya is starting to cautiously open up more about the fact his "medical condition" goes a bit deeper than that, and I can totally see him being more apt to trust someone who isn't a typical ~Earth doctor~, actually / he would be so curious to learn if the Doctor ever encountered anything like this! One of his item slots is also an X-ray of the alien inside of his stomach, so he could potentially straight-up show the Doctor that at some point 👀

God and here I am rambling away full-force, but I'm very excited to get this cr going, and will be on the lookout for opportunities! I did see mention that the Doctor will be returning to Milton after being in Lakeside, so Kostya could bump into him there — and I think May event details will be dropping in the next coming week or so, so that might also give some fun food to play with!

Character Name: Edward Little
Canon: The Terror
Residence: Currently, a modest, sad little cabin on the outskirts of town, although he can be found staying at Thomas Jopson's cabin sometimes (also on the outskirts of town). Notably, his "charge" Kate Marsh has been staying with him as of late, and I'm thinking in May he'll be moving into a bigger place somewhere!
Skills: Edward is a First Lieutenant of the Royal Navy, and so comes with extensive training as a senior & executive officer. He was also a member of the doomed Franklin Expedition, so he's coming into this setting with some years' experience with survival horror out in the frigid Arctic (living in cramped ship quarters, having to ration dwindling supplies, and dealing with various Frozen Landscape Terrors! And has had some encounters with a Supernatural Spooky Thing.) He also really likes Making Reports, Keeping Up With Stock, and Making Announcements in a Commanding Voice. I have plans for him to learn what a clipboard is and to have his life changed by it
Aurora Feat: N/A... he's just Normal Nedward for now

Wanted CR:

folks to nanny — in his nervous but resilient way.... Edward is not a Paternal Type necessarily, more the "I have responsibility for someone and it's My Job" type, as well as "falling to the role of Reluctant Nanny / Middle Manager because I had to, as the First Lieutenant of a failing expedition". He's been embracing it more these days and actively fussing over / trying to take care of people. This could be for young folks but also anyone, really... He's a good Guard Dog in general (pathetic, but unflinchingly loyal)

fellow military / law enforcement types — Ned has been trying to keep order and structure in Milton as best as he can, and has already met a few people to help him do that, so I'd love to both continue developing that cr and open my arms to any new! Although as of late, he has been questioning how hard he's been holding onto "Lieutenant Little", so talks about Duty and Whatnot could be really interesting

misc. things — others from around his time (1840s) or "fellow Not Modern People" that he can vibe with; those from modern times to teach him things; those with medical experience (he's pretty much cleared of scurvy by now but comes with some lead poisoning and has been suffering the effects of that, so that's... fun); canon cr drama things (he has a good deal of canonmates here in game now, and I'm wide open to any drama / talks / etc. that could go along with that....!); always open for people to join him on his patrols sometime, he goes all over Milton

Day to Day: The very proper and dedicated Lieutenant Little is coping with finding himself in another Frozen Survival Horror Situation by trying extremely hard to fall back to what he knows best, so he can be found on a daily basis doing patrols around the town and its outskirts in his very Professional Uniform, attempting to keep order. This means he will step in if anything seems Amiss — though if something gets Too Amiss, he might start dissociating, he's totally fine. (He is not totally fine!) But he makes it a habit to try and introduce himself to as many folks as he can, and he's also put up a notice on the message board to spread the word that he's here to assist. He's also often up to busy work to help out around the town in other ways: chopping wood, taking stock of things, assisting at the Community Center regularly, and if anyone ever needs a Guard Dog to accompany them on a trek out into the wilds (or anywhere else) for some reason, he's your guy.

The Story So Far / Plans:

• generally Being Extremely Stressed, always
• was in Lakeside through most of March (where he was staying in a luxury cabin with Kate) and returned to Milton in April to resume his duties there
• found out Wynonna Earp and Ruby Rose got shot by the Forest Talkers and got really mad because of his Worry.... Shouted at Wynonna and now feels really bad ab it. Also currently fiercely Victorian Repressing most things about Wynonna Earp
• still nervous of the fallout from Boatman Drama with his canonmates and keeping a close eye on Kate Marsh and Others who were involved there... trying To Protect everyone that he possibly can
• also recently had a really good talk with Crozier reiterating the need for him to be a Figure Of Authority in this place, so he has officially returned to his Lieutenant Responsibilities, even if he continues to feel weirdly out of place in himself
• a lot of thoughts about the fact he feels like (and even identifies as???) "a ghost" now

Also, I need for them to have that "Little thinks he's a ghost" conversation. She for sure has thoughts about that, although they'll have to find each other post-argument for that.
