Wanted CR: This man needs friends! He needs people who will tell him to his face that he's a weird nerd who needs help in social situations. Mentees: Fraser has a lot of knowledge about how to survive in this kind of environment. Let him share with you! Ner'er-do-wells hoping to dupe him is always fun. Romance is an option, but he is super duper awkward and it would be a massively slow burn. He has a tendency to hold himself apart, so I'd love for him to get down in the dirt with someone.

Also wanted: people to do stuff with Dief!

Unwanted CR: Pretty happy to roll with whatever! I would just prefer you not murder him, please. Negative CR may be unsatisfying with Fraser, because he's sure if someone doesn't like him they have their reasons and would politely leave them alone.

Day to Day: Fraser is usually out trapping, cutting wood, building things, fixing things, etc. He's pretty easy to run across in the woods or at the house he shares with Heartman.

The Story So Far / Plans:

- Fraser went to Lakeside and asked Young Bill a couple of questions. Dief made a friend.
- Later on, Sveta brought him some borscht and he was pleased.
- On his return to Milton, he got caught in the green fog with Kostya and the two were stuck in a cabin for a while.
- Beginning in early May, it will turn out that Dief didn't make a friend, he made a girlfriend. Puppies are on the way and Fraser is in deep shit with Young Bill!

Sam would be so put off by Fraser's genuine niceness but she would definitely tell him to his face he's a weird nerd who needs help socializing. She might even offer the help herself.

And Fraser would be happy to give her hunting tips! He's also not a therapist, but he can be good at helping people with their feelings. So this could the beginning of a beautiful friendship!

Hey there! I'm just leaning fully into the Doctor Who moniker and haven't done much with this alien weirdo here yet, but I'd love to toss these two at each other! The Doctor wouldn't be much help telling Fraser that he's a weird nerd in social situations because uh... exhibit a and exhibit b speak for themselves, but they could at least potentially be weird nerds together depending on how they vibe!

I'd also love to toss the Doctor at Wynonna sometime for laughs because I truly have no idea how they'd get on, but yes I could easily see him on adventures with Fraser if we get a chance to have them cross paths soon!

Absolutely to both! Fraser and the Doctor are definitely similar kinds of 'gets extremely excited about very normal things' and I think that would be beautiful for them!

Is the Doctor in Milton or Lakeview? I have an old, old catchall from February that I could toss a starter in for them, or I could post a new one, but did any of the TDM prompts (fog, etc.) catch your eye? (Sidenote: I've been at a work conference all week and I won't really be back to normal tagging until this coming Monday).

Excellent! I'm sort of dividing his time between Lakeside first and then back over to Milton more in the early part of May. I actually just posted an open catchall if anything there sparks joy if Fraser is in that area! If not, I'd absolutely love a starter on your Feb catchall whenever you have time, but no rush and whatever works best for you!

Him telling her about the puppies coming up will be nice but we also see what the event brings and maybe play with something there too!

does that mean I want it? absolutely

he's just so SWEET to her, so even building up to some level of closeness before she ultimately reveals herself to be a Bad Guy (or tries to convince him she's not really a Bad Guy by telling her story in bits and pieces) could be a fun route to play out?

He's such a sweetheart, Lanfear Selene! and he genuinely likes her!

it would be really funny (and kind of cute!) if she kept trying to get close to him to Use Him for her own Nefarious Purposes (or just because she's good at using and manipulating people) but then doesn't really end up using him at all and they actually end up liking each other for real or something...

also, he absolutely has an Achilles heel for a bad, pretty lady with a sad story, he falls for it with Victoria and there's a real chance he'd fall for it here, too, even to the point where he'd try to defend her if their fellow townspeople tried to take up arms against her or something

anyway, there's no way this doesn't end badly for him and I am absolutely on board with seeing where things might go!

honestly, there's a possibility that Fraser could end up making Lanfear like him on his own terms + change her mind about using him for fun/profit/entertainment, which would be pretty adorable

but she would 100% try to tell her version of the story involving her ex to make herself look more sympathetic, to the point where if anyone from home shows up or anyone here discovers the truth she'd try to make sure Fraser was still on HER side

either way, their threads have been a lot of fun so far so I would love to see where things go!
