With the recent events that have transpired in regards to Young Bill's plan to starve out the Forest Talkers — the eco-terrorist group that has been hounding him and leaving macabre scenes all over the Lakeside area, Interlopers have called a town meeting to discuss what to do on this.

Rather than playing out the Town Meeting, like with the Darkwalker's second attack, consider this post an OOC post of that meeting, for players to share their character's thoughts and feelings on the situation — along with the best approach in regards to Young Bill's proposal.

Players are free to thread out scenes from the Town Meeting in their own event toplevels/open posts if they wish to do so — but this is more of a quick catchall on character's thoughts that's more accessible to everyone — and players can have their characters +1 ideas they agree with!

Character Thoughts/Ideas:

Like many of the other new folks, McCoy will keep quiet at first and just listen before offering his input. He's against stealing caches, though he's tentatively for relieving them of their ammunition.

He's also against kidnapping and interrogation of anyone, and pro attempting to make diplomatic inroads with them. Yeah, even with their whole ritualistic corpse mutilation, especially in light of Levi's intel that they may have a cult on their hands. McCoy has some thoughts about that as well.

He'd suggest leaving notes, as others have suggested, or outright offering medical assistance – in exchange for not attacking the Interlopers and Bill – as both an olive branch, and a means of discovering more about the FTs.

Zoey is definitely of a mind with Bones. She doesn't want things to escalate and stealing their caches and trying to starve them out seems like it would ESCALATE THINGS BADLY. Same for the kidnapping and interrogating one of them.
