He's kinda from your era. Sort of. He wasn't born until 1853.

To be fair, Queen Victoria was on the throne until like... early 1900s or something. There's a reason why it's called the Victorian Era.

Third one. Sort of. My sister was younger than me. Now she's about to surpass me in age.

It's weird, isn't it. Seeing the entire world pass you by while you're stuck thinking about the past.

... Yeah. Just one of those wonderful parts of learning how to exist again.

I wasn't even away from them for that long, but coming back there so much that'd changed. It's been hard getting used to that when you don't even really have much grasp of that period of time. It might as well still be about Pre-Rising in my head.

You know, you're preaching to the choir with that one. Everybody here talks about electronics that they're this normal thing, weird that they aren't working, when as far as I'm concerned those things shouldn't work to begin with.

To be fair, unless you're really into science — electricity and technology really is just weird. I don't get it either.
